Weaseling went okay.


The generator got hooked up and test-fired, and it runs happily. It stank while the paint burned off the hot surfaces, but that was over in a few minutes. It works, it makes current, and the maintenance guy didn't know where to start with questions about its care and feeding.


And the windows guys showed up and got the last two windows and the half-a-dozen broken sashes replaced.


The awnings assholes are s'posed to arrive at 0800. I'll believe it when I see it . . . .

Work is winning. This job is not wrapping up leaving a very good taste in my mouth, as it turns out. Now my PTO has reloaded and the PM wants me to take it all before the next gig starts.


I'd like to split the difference and spend a boring week here before going home. But . . . I'll do what he says to.
