Anybody notice that Jack's done some self-care already today?


1. Started his day with coffee and...

2. ...a bit of socializing (good for extroverts and morning people, others may prefer a quieter atmosphere)

3. Made plans to contribute to a worthwhile project, which should (hopefully) give him a feeling of reward and accomplishment.

4. Has creative outlets and participates regularly in those activities.


Way to go, Jack. Thanks for getting us started off on the right foot!

Opportune timing WH, I hope this proves therapeutic for those desiring. I really do hope that this will be a friendly sanctuary thread filled with supportive people who set aside bitterness and hurt in order to find comfort.

And now it’s time for me to finish my morning coffee and head out for my morning walk. Best regards to all who stop by here today and heartfelt sympathy for those who are currently heartsick and unhappy.

So I was seeing this guy a while back, and sadly he ended things very poorly, but he once said something that I thought was a great piece of advice, and it has stuck with me ever since.

'Tell your friends what you need from them.'
