Income inequality is a fake meme made up by those who feel entitled to the things others have worked for.

Let's take the average High School Grad. He has no real skills other than enthusiasm and energy. He is "basic clay" that can be molded into something.

And then let's take the average Fortune 500 CEO. He haz mad skilz. He knows people. He haz connections. He makes it work because he's spent YEARS figuring out how to make it work.

WHY THE FUCK would anyone think these two people should have the same income?

Unless they're either crazy or they want to take the things that others have worked hard for.

You want the CEO's salary? Get off the couch and create the skills and connections and work ethic he has. If you do that, you'll be his equal or superior. If all you want to do is steal from him, you're just a common thief dressed in a political suit.

I wouldn't. The high school grad is probably going to fix my house's plumbing or electrical system or keep my car running. The best the typical Fortune 500 CEO can do is provide 2 percent return on my stock while pocketing million-dollar bonuses. It's not even close which of those is worth more. And we haven't even gotten around to nurses and teachers and the aide who's going to wipe your butt in the retirement home.

Except the average Fortune 500 CEO is the guy who employs those plumbers and electricians and car rental agents and so on.

It's not really about abilities. It's about connections and skills. Big wigs know people. They can press the flesh and communicate ideas.

Your average plumber can barely spell his own name.

Of course income inequality is a social issue, as is wealth inequality generally. But your proposal is intended to delegitimize that issue.

Yes, it's obviously not really about abilities. That's why the system is so fucked up. It should be more about not only abilities but the balance of usefulness and importance to society--and the relative pay for that. It's really fun that you don't seem to understand that. (How old again are you? Are you legally on this Web site? There's a minimum age rule, you know.)

There should be one wage for everybody, guaranteed and paid by the government. No more should we be trying to outwork the next guy, and pricing up the healthcare system because you can’t just enjoy life. Corporations should be nationalized and incorporated into the structure of government. Fairness requires we end greed and envy both, and get used to living in the civilization that 2018has given us.
