Wtf

If ever there was a time for Dems to show some aggressive leadership, it's now

Who's out there speaking out about the kiddie concentration camps and defending against his lies? Who is saying clearly and simply how it is not a Dem "law"?

Merckley--great video but a mealy mouthed wussy guy. Not camera ready

Joe Kennedy--too girly and curly

Schumer-- whiney, ineffective

Sanders--too old and crazy-eyed

If they don't find someone who is strong enough to blast Trump out of the water in the media they are doomed.

It has nothing to do with policy, just OPTICS for f's sake

It's early.

There's more political calculus going on this time than I think there had been before: the last Presidential election revealed that there are A LOT of submissive-types in the electorate who want an authoritarian leader, even if he's obviously really stupid and dishonest.

On that line, I thought Hillary Clinton made a mistake choosing Tim Kaine as her running mate: Dumpster Fire's election made very clear the magnitude of the authoritarian appeal, but it has been apparent for years to anyone who paid attention that it was significant. Consider the hagiography of Ronald Reagan (pbuh).

Like it or not, fair or not, Hillary being a woman was going to cost her a lot of votes. To mitigate this, she ought to have picked as a running mate someone who looked like he'd just retired from being the inside linebacker for the Chicago Bears, and not Tim Kaine, who looks like he was just promoted from the back room to run the accounting firm he belongs to after the partner who did all the marketing retired.

It's stupid, it's offensive, but I think it's also reality.

Agreed about Tim Kaine.

We don't necessarily need a linebacker in looks, just demeaner and toughness.

The closest thing Dems have right now is Michael Avenatti. He was just on AM JOY and he was awesome,

He holds no punches, says it like it is, doesn't care, flames Rs, tells the truth, full of facts and righteous indignation. One of these days he'll lay an f-bomb. That is exactly what we need.

I'm not a D but I'd like to see someone like Keith Olberman go toe to toe with Trump in a debate. Btw, debate should truly be debates, not controlled by the candidates.

I'd like to see him debate Randi Rhodes. She could take down any Republican.

I'd like to see Tulsi Gabbard get the press she deserves. She could wipe the floor with Donald the Deluded in a debate. She wouldn't let him wander off subject and is tough enough to nail his balls to the floor.

It never does and always is...that's the problem with Dumz...and they just can't figure it out.

I'd like to see them both take on Ben Shapiro :D

Because it would take both of them and a whole lot of prep to stand a chance.

She's one of the few (D)'s I could actually get behind, arguably one of the most decent in the party.

Then again, the Dems probably can go a while longer letting the Republicans royally screw themselves.

(D)umz not quite ready to go back to royally screwing themselves yet? :D

Gotta find some more old botched/bad (R)epublican ideas to put their name on I guess.
