Where to hunt for commission writers?

I think they're all having fun, Sammy.

Exactly. I was having fun with the whole of the thread, and it did make me laugh. I meant no offense, Sammy, and you have my apologies.

The main things I found amusing were what I thought I pointed out - the readers of your request, including me, were confused by the original posting (is this request for writing about RP or a request to role play aimed at writers?) and the responses’ rapid tangentializing into mis-quoted Mark Twain and which thigh would be unavailable for hanky-panky due to tattooings.

You asked for “writers [who] are looking to do paid writing gigs” which sounded more like writing fiction rather than RP, but in other places it sounded like Role-Play with a writer was what you were after. And a lot of people on here either don’t use or don’t like to use PM.
There was also quick jump to calling someone a ‘troll’ when one of several people asked for a bit more info, and offering suggestions, seeming to me like they were honestly trying to help.
The whole thread seemed, read all at once, like a weird roller coaster ride with a few warp jumps in the middle of it. So I took it around an additional loop-the-loop.

Hi there. I never said I will not clarify what I'm looking for, all I said that I will respond via PM if someone is interested. Is it too big an ask? Does it destroys a writers prestige so much that they are okay to write a big comment here then to write a few lines in a PM?

I would, if it were GM. I rather enjoy that style of writing. But you want women involved, and that's just not my bag today, baby.

Is it too big an ask?

Yes, it is. If, when asked, you won't even say whether your interest falls in the hetero, bi, lesbian, and/or gay male categories you're just jerking us around and wasting our time.

I've written stories from Internet role playing. Even got a publisher that way. I've even made money off of stories resulting from this. Probably a lot of writers here can do that given respect for their time and attention and a quick matchup of interest without coy "guess what I'm thinking" play.

I'm sorry but I get uncomfortable and nervous sharing my interests publicly.

I feel comfortable through PM.

I'm sorry again I have no intention to disrespect anyone's time here.

You do realise that we can see every post you've left on whatever Forum thread you left it on (currently, 56)?

You might get more joy out of the Role Play forums, I think that's what you're really after, not a "commissioned piece."

And my comments reveal anything specific?

And why do you say I'm not after a "commissioned piece" ? So an RP cannot be commissioned? Who decides what is commissioned and what is not?

I can't see you've done anything wrong, but I don't think anyone's available who shares your kink (that can be a curse), or the desire, at this moment, to play.

Seriously?!?

It was a tickle fetish?

Damn! Talk about an anticlimax.

*sigh*

Really Sammy that's your big secret? Jeez! ...and here I thought you were hiding something juicy.

*shakes head and walks away*

Uggg

That's understandable. Many people feel uncomfortable in a public format.

You've done nothing wrong, but you certainly had us all curious with the air of mystique.:)

As has been alluded to earlier, there is a role-play forum. I'm sure you're more apt to find someone who feels the same on public display. From there, someone would happily engage in PM cyber role play. Unless, of course, you specifically want a writer tailored for such a position.

I think I know now what it is your seeking. You were a bit vague. Understandable considering you want to maintain the PM position. Hopefully you will find what you seek.

Can’t we be decent perverts?

If there is one thing that I think doesn’t belong on an erotica site, it is authors of erotica belittling someone’s particular kink, fetish or desire.

There is some damn socially unacceptable stuff here. The site would have half the readers without Incest and Taboo. (I know I would lose many, many readers without it, though it is not the category of the majority of my stories)

I would wager most of us have felt shame or worse for what turns us on. And have at times been reluctant to voice what we wanted to others.

I have a strong suspicion there is more to what Sammy is looking for than what has been gleened from public postings, but even if there isn’t...so fucking what?

If erotic authors can’t show decent respect for what turns another on, things are ugly. I don’t choose what gets me off, but I know I have at times feared to share some of my deepest fantasies in the ‘real world.’

Tease, criticize, argue..... but please, people, be kind on this one thing.

I guess this coterie of writers has pretty much decided it by not wanting to engage with writing role play content, whereas members of this same group of writers have written stories for individuals privately; thus defining a demarcation - in this Authors Hangout, at least.

That's been the main thing folk here have either been trying to establish, or to point out - what it was you wanted in the first place (which, although you've never actually said it until your last post, is role play content); and, if it was role play content, that you might have better luck else where (ie: the Role Play Forums). That's all, I think, that we've been saying, in a roundabout Tristram Shandy kind of a way.

I was a bit rude to a poster earlier in the thread. If it was toward Sammy then I apologize. Sammy was not the intended target of my rudeness earlier.

Just for the record, if this was addressed to what I posted... I love tickle torture. My post was not so much about what the kink was as the fact that it never needed to be a big secret.

Thanks for clarifying, Uggg. I went off a bit there. Part of it was fueled by previous threads that got into the ‘Your kink isn’t worthy’ thing.

We can’t really know what may lead someone to feel the need for secrecy over something others find easy to share. Actually, that very need for secrecy, the reluctance to share our desires, the struggle to overcome shame or embarrassment over inner urges and express them, is pretty sexy.

And seriously, I'm struggling to think where else other than the role playing forum to go to. Are there any other websites that cater to this sort of role-playing. I'm a total neophyte with this but its quite interesting. Sort of like furries. I was a little... surprised?

There's a story rolling around in my head... Dave, hotdogs, and computer skills.

Am I on to something?

The feeling to have the need for secrecy was put on full display here and I called it out. Now suddenly the posts are trying to be 'understanding', but now that BS has been called nothing more than patronizing.

"We have now decided sir, that its perfectly okay to want what you want and will now post our insincere support and pat you on the head in order to not look like judgmental tools."

Some days its just to easy.

Ok so guys I have edited my ad and now I'm more detailed about what I'm looking for. Hope all the writers reading it may now have a clear idea of the requirements.
