Put everyone on bicycles. This will cut obesity immensely. But the farts will be awful.

Unlikely. You can't change physics. A diesel ICE is the most efficient way to extract energy from petroleum to propel land vehicles. Newer multi-turbo designs reduce emissions to very low levels. VW et al really fucked up by cheating; a false economy.

Our 6-ton 2016 Mercedes Sprinter housecar with 3-liter turbodiesel gets 17-20 mpg. It easily passes the strict SF Bay Area emissions tests. We're happy.

We will give the old one lunger / hit and miss a pass at this time.

I like Vin Diesel. I feel sorta wrong for it cuz I kinda think he's probably an asshole but he has a good screen presence. Plus I've read he is an avid D&D player and I gotta like that.
 
I've been reading Diesel's posts and see no reason to ban her.

The 3 learned articles you quote make no particular mention of diesel oil fuel so why are you making that connection?

And FYI I have 2 1 cylinder, 4 two cylinder and 1 four cylinder engines like the one in my AV but I don't use diesel oil in any of them. The alternative fuel is free and has no tax. They all run generators on remote properties far from the grid.
 
Banning all diesel now would be economic suicide. The vast majority of commerce in the United States would come to a halt. Millions would die.

if you dislike diesel so much simply refuse to buy anything which has it in the supply or production chain.

a bit like you do with plastics.
or electricity.
