Where to hunt for commission writers?

Oh my days. The chances of you wanting one of LC's women to grace your RP are... well, slender, unless you're a very brave boy who likes a bit of violence with his Wheaties.

I hope your lad is sub. LC doesn't pull punches. But if you want bruises...

He could be...

You make me sound so vicious!

I like it....okay, here's my leg.:D

In July I'm getting a Succubus tattooed on my left calf, you're going to have to settle for the right leg for a bit.

The sacrifices I make for my art.

Now, are you going to lock this bloke in chastity and spank his arse, or are we going to leave him dangling like an unloved participle, with no one to call 'Mommy'?

Are you not one? Apologies.

Then.. DJ Khaled? I'd be happy to RP funking up his fun. The world has no place for a man who doesn't believe he should go down.

;)

Well, I would love to be one just in case it makes you happy. I'm being generous today for some reason.

It really doesn't matter as long as the writer can play a female character. Would you be interested?

I'm confused.
Do you want a writer to write you a short story, or an active character to assist in a Role-Play game?
Writing ?; Yes, there are writers who may help you .
Role-Play ?; you're in the wrong spot, I'm thinking.

No mind is thoroughly well organized that is deficient in a sense of humor - Samuel Clemens.

Wandering off topic, (weeelll, why not?) isn't that quote from Coleridge, rather than Mark Twain?

For the sake of argument, I think that's bollocks. Accountants - they've exceptionally organised minds. Know what they often don't have? Senses of humour.

I've got a sense of humour, and it's chaos in here. No one knows what's going on.

Personally, I think if we're drawing up a Venn diagram of Minds That Are Well Organised and Minds That Have A Sense Of Humour, I think the overlap would be smaller than Coleridge imagined in his drug-addled state of self adulation.

There are some rare creatures as have both - those INTPs you find wandering about, looking for chaos to tame. But even then, I think they think they're far more organised than they really are. A state of delusion, if you will. Induced by too many frothy lattes, I'd think, but that's purely anecdotal.

As you were.

Excellent catch! I was wondering when someone would catch that!

One night I was looking for Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain brainy quotes and came across that one.

I was like "Let's see if anyone catches this."

The wordage and wit of Coleridge and Clemens are so closely woven on such pearls of wisdom, the most common of people will not catch it. :)

Role-Play was what I thought as well.

Wannabe sub manipulates writer-doms into desired role-play?

This thread cracked me up.

1. Some excellent writers express interest to the OP, asking for a little clarification of what was being asked for from the writers: writing or something else?
2. OP declines, reacting as though excellent writers have no knowledge of editing for clarification.
(I originally took the post to be a request for commissioned writing involving RP, but reading on without a clear clarification, I think now I was wrong)

Many/most excellent role-players do not consider themselves writers though they create fictions. They would not be looking for opportunity on the Author threads (here). Since OP is posting here, on the Author’s Hangout, that is likely a clue to the intentions.

My conclusion:
This IS the OP’s RP fantasy and OP has gotten the RP that was sought: being beaten up on a author’s forum, mainly politely, by writers, who then wander off into numerous tangents, ignoring the secretive sub OP, and therefore fulling the fantasy of being lightly whipped with words by wordsmiths, followed by the ever-gratifying satisfaction of being largely ignored by the potential writer-doms who are more interested in their own intellectual writer-reader head-spaces.

If that is the case, congrats to the OP for manipulating the respondents into playing the role you wanted, and to the writers for possibly expanding their skill-set into accidental role-play.

:D

Love the analysis! Sure beats the back-story on the OP, which (spoilers), if one reads his other posts, is a tickling fetish. One wonders why the secrecy with that? I was expecting a little more, but no matter.

I reckon you're spot on. Accidental role play, who knew? ;).

I started writing by role play online with my wife when she used to travel every other weekend for work back when we were first together.

I decided to take one of the RP 'couples' and write a scenario with them interacting sexually, then added a build up, etc and eventually it became the first story I wrote.

back in my early days here I spent time on the SRP forum and had several long running role plays with some pretty creative, dirty minded and fun people. Those roles plays improved my writing by pushing me to be able to respond to any twist the partner through at me.

It also taught me how to write from both POV's as I was fine with role playing as a female with a woman who wanted to be the guy to challenge each other. I learned to write dominant, submissive, create a slow burn and write other people's ideas on the fly with no other prep other than "this is the scene...go."

Basically its how I learned to write in general.

Just thought I'd toss that out there to the people who are mocking this and think they're so far above it here on a free site where anyone can publish a story regardless of quality.

Maybe you should be more open minded. You might learn something.

Hi there. I never said I will not clarify what I'm looking for, all I said that I will respond via PM if someone is interested. Is it too big an ask? Does it destroys a writers prestige so much that they are okay to write a big comment here then to write a few lines in a PM?

I think they're all having fun, Sammy.
