No, seriously, meeting people in real life situations has so many advantages over meeting people through on-line "hook-up" services, like 100,000 years of evolutionary advantage. Meeting people in person while you are doing something of interest is the way people have been meeting since the dawn of humans. The bandwidth of communication in this original method is enormous compared to that of texts and emails. You can actually sense body chemistry as a starting point.

Many people actually lie in their on-line ads (shock and dismay!!!!), many of them have difficulty relating to other people in real life. I have tried connecting with others on-line, but have never found a satisfactory lover with that method. I have found several shady people who I parted from as quickly and diplomatically as possible after meeting in a public place.

Please don't think there are only two options, on-line connections or bars. I've never met any of my lovers in a bar.
