I would suggest there's a differentiation between political correctness and political incorrectness and what is hate speech.

I know it gets really really blurred here in this forum and in political discourse in the USA now-a-days, but hate speech is speech that attacks a group based on race, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability, or gender.

Political correctness is a term that's getting hijacked by both the left and right to apply to things it wasn't coined to mean originally. Originally it came from the regimes of Nazi Germany and after that Communist Russia where media was told it isn't enough to report what is "factually correct", rather you must report what is "Politically Correct".

So you see Political Correctness is a term that's being twisted, bastardized, and raped to mean what it doesn't necessarily mean.
