Bernie, whom I liked better than other options but whatever, was never a Dum, never did anything for Dums, has no accomplishments as a Senator. Which won the popular vote by an expected margin. She won the nation but lost the game. Sad.

I did not vote for Hillary -- no biggy in California. I doubt she could have done much presidentially even had she not suffered the TKO. She would face a toxic, hostile Congress and reactionary media machine, with Russian 'bots. Articles of impeachment would probably have been filed right after Inauguration Day. Firearms makers would be solvent.

Don't blame Dums for giving Tromp to USA. Blame MSM for gifting The Donald with a billion bucks of free coverage; by letting him suck oxygen from the media presence of all lesser showmen; by legitimizing him. Now he attacks that MSM -- and their revenues jump. Nice shill-work, Donnie.

The UK currently has at least 4 major political parties and is currently being run by an alliance of (ugh) pseudo-American corporate slave neoliberals and their Catholic young-Earth fundamentalist buddies. It's not great but we're certainly not trending toward anarchy.
I don't know how many political parties Greece has but I think an electoral majority is 4% of the vote so probably quite a few, one of the biggest ones are even Nazis, and even though Greece isn't in its finest moment right now it is also not teetering on the edge of anarchy like we saw when Rome collapsed.

I absolutely agree.

Here in Canada we have three major parties plus a couple of provincial parties that carry some weight.

I went out for coffee this morning and it was hell. Firefights between local gangs. Streets littered with corpses. I had to pop two druggies and one crazy person in the fifteen minutes it took going from cover to cover to get to the Starbucks down the street.

It's no damned fun living here in Canada at all.

In case you weren't sure I'm being really really, really sarcastic. It was a pleasant walk. The only danger was from people driving to work half asleep at the wheel and if I had been hit I wouldn't go bankrupt paying my medical bills.
