I think your reasoning is flawed. More than flawed actually, it's nonsensical to the extreme.

Majority rule by overwhelming votes from densely populated areas harms voters in less densely populated areas by disenfranchising them. To offset this, the founders created the electoral college.

To illustrate; let's take, say, Los Angeles. Now, LA needs water. It has 12 million people who need water. LOTS of water. And then there's Mono County. It has water. And a lot fewer people. By your "popular vote" methodology, Mono County has no say over whether LA can take their water because they're outvoted on the ballot something like 1000 to 1.

If the above illustration was a presidential election, the voters in Mono County would never be heard. Ever. LA would control the election completely. So, instead of that, we have the electoral college to make both areas equal in representation.

Your whining is just that, whining. Because H LOST the electoral college. The popular vote means NOTHING.
