Apparently there was an election in Wisconsin to fill a state Supreme Court seat. The Democratic candidate won over the Republican candidate by double digits. This is Scott Walker's panicked, delusional missive after another devastating Republican loss:

"Tonight's results show we are at risk of a #BlueWave in WI. The Far Left is driven by anger & hatred -- we must counter it with optimism & organization. Let's share our positive story with voters & win in November," he tweeted.​

Pardon my French, but jesus fucking christ! The left is driven by anger and hatred? Republicans must use optimism and positive stories? Where the hell has this dimwit been for the past decade? All we heard throughout the Obama administration was vile hatred and abject anger at anything Obama tried to do to get us out of the Republican-created recession.

When the con artist was running, all we heard was vile hatred and lies, which continues to this day unabated.

No matter how much good news came out, recovery of all the jobs lost under Bush, rising corporate profits, rising home ownership after the collapse under Bush, a soaring stock market, countries working with us rather than against us, all of that was ridiculed by Republicans at every opportunity.

Now suddenly we're to believe Republicans are to be sugar and spice and everything nice?

This is why I'm disgusted with my party. I hope they go down in flames this year because that seems to be the only way for them to get their heads out of each others ass.

Blue waves are definitely better than red waves at this point in time but they don't guarantee any more political representation than you had under Obama.
My advice: Vote democrat, just make sure to not vote for any Democrat supported or endorsed by the Washington establishment Democrats. Or any one that has taken any donations from any group larger than about $2000.

A few years ago? I just read that in 1/3 of Congressional races nationwide, Gups are running anti-Pelosi ads, trying to tie the local Dum to Nasty Nancy. I'm told Faux is now 24/7 with Pelosi Is Satan's Secretary. We'll see how that works out, hey?

Dum leadership got a different clue than we did. Dum leadership saw Hillary win nationally by an expected margin; she only lost the game by 77k votes in 3 counties. Dum leadership can think, "We won except technicality, so we just need more of the same."

More of the same is what Dums did from 2010 onwards when Gups took Congress and most statehouses, sending thousands of Dum pols to look for honest work. Dum.Org hasn't incubated generations of local players as The Great Right-Wing Conspiracy has. Dums forgot: All Politics Are Local.

USA politics and gov't are run by two non-profits incorporated in Delaware that own the political infrastructure: state and local offices, committees, consultants, data systems, etc. Those non-profits operate in their own interest, not ours. How to change or replace them? Vote.
