Why does anyone NEED an assault rifle?

Did you cum when you found those pictures?

Of course he did. He's such a triggered little snowflake. And it's very funny because we know for a fact he's never even held a gun. It's a very bizarre form of right wing mental inferiority.

:D:D:D And I thought I was late at 18 after overcoming conflicting 'standards' and simply took tests to satisfy both 'standards'. Oh to be that young and stupid again.

Never been into the whole meme thing but I would LOVE to have a pic of her to put that quote on and spread it around the internet.

I’m sure you have the following to accomplish that.

My, how fucking ironic....

Tyra Hemans, 19, a senior..... "I'm not happy with it. Why are you punishing me for one person's actions?" she said.
Why were you afraid to post the article heading?

Marjory Stoneman Douglas will require students to carry only clear backpacks

With that and the senior's quote, we can quickly judge the context. A student thinks clear backpacks are punishment. Should we sympathize?

Mea culpa: I own a clear backpack and I'm not ashamed to use it. But in a zone with pickpockets and bag thieves, like Antigua Guatemala during Semana Santa (holy week) I prefer an Ameribag. More secure. Won't hold a rifle, though, even with a folding stock. Whew.

Alas, clear plastic backpacks can be defeated by clear plastic handguns. The technology spiral will never end. Might as well suicide now, get it over with.

Do they have clear tampons too, or does everyone know when you're menstruating?

Perhaps the best analogy to carrying a gun, so that PERHAPS our liberals can better understand, is to rationalize the placement of fire extinguishers in our homes. We certainly don't want our homes to catch fire, but in the event that it happens, I know I'm better prepared to save my own life and that of my family should that worst case occur. In the same vein, I also don't want to shoot anyone, but I know there is crime and those who would do me or my family harm exist in abundance. So in the same fashion as my home fire extinguisher (and fire escape ladder for the upper story bedrooms), I carry a handgun. I don't expect to ever have to use it to defend myself and/or my family from harm, but then again, neither of my neighbors who lost their homes to fire expected they would be fighting a fire either. And like those who hate guns, they didn't have home fire extinguishers, so they called the fire department.... who was about 8 minutes away. Too late, it turns out, one of those two homes burned to the ground before they could arrive (the other took about six months to rebuild). Remember, that 911 call has about an 8 minute response time...

You can disable an armed robber with a fire extinguisher. Probably have a better success rate with it than with your handgun, too.

And with that reasoning, I can see you're an advocate for fighting house fires with a handgun....

.... and this is why we have snow removal equipment... too many snowflakes...

You get dumber with every post. If you keep going, by next week we'll have to water you.

Oh, you're right. Completely stupid idea.

http://www.totalfireandsafety.com/blog/tag/fire-extinguisher-as-weapon/

Most people wouldn’t think of using a fire extinguisher for self-defense, but actually, dry chemical fire extinguishers make good non-lethal weapons. What happens if you shoot a fire extinguisher at an attacker? It can slow, stop or incapacitate them depending on how close you are to the target, because the dry powder fire extinguishers shoot their streams at high speeds. The stream travels for 12 to 20 feet, and covers an area considerably larger than that of pepper spray. The chemical stream can get into the attacker’s nose, mouth, and eyes. The attacker will try to clean their face and this diversion could buy enough time to disarm them and save lives.

Random shooters are often unprepared for a person to fight back, and the range of the fire extinguisher can create a cloud to obscure the area and diffuse the situation. Fire extinguishers are always around, in a convenient location, ready to use. They are easy to operate, and easy to find in public places where other weapons are not available or are banned (like in the case of schools).

Leave it to a Republican to espouse such a dumb idea.

https://www.local10.com/news/politics/maine-candidate-fight-school-shooter-with-fire-extinguisher

A Republican candidate for governor in Maine suggested that teachers who are confronted with school shooters could fight back with fire extinguishers.

Shawn Moody made the comments Monday in an interview with WVOM in Bangor.

"When you think about little commonsense things, practical things, we could do right now, there are fire extinguishers, dry-chemical fire extinguishers, in every commercial building, school, and almost within 100 feet of wherever you are, and a fire extinguisher can be a great deterrent if somebody gets out of control or if anything happens," Moody told the station.

"A teacher, anybody could break that glass, set the alarm off, grab that dry chemical fire extinguisher and spray it towards somebody and I'll tell you right now that could put them to their knees," he suggested.

Ever seen 50 unsuspecting civilians killed in minutes by any of the items listed above?

Rifles of all kinds killed a little over 300 people in the United States last year. Auto deaths topped 40,000 last year...numb nuts.

Those things come in handy. Not a fan of the clear ones, but I've used backpacks many times. Often as a daily tool for walking about, trekking, books, and camping.

Biggest problem(s) I've encountered was walking into some type of store. Often setting it down at the door to show I wasn't there to steal anything. People are so paranoid these days.

Like,"Keep an eye on this one. He's up to something dangerous. He has a backpack."

I think Hypoxia once again missed my point.

The irony is that these are the same kids that walked out of school to demand an infringement of 8.5 million Americans rights. Got downright obnoxious about it on CNN's Town Hall and even went to DC to protest. And when they feel THEIR rights are being infringed? They immediately ask the same question I have asked a dozen times right here in this very thread:

"Why are you punishing me for one person's actions?"

It's hard to shoplift much into an Ameribag. They're not built for that. On the other hand, when a carnival is in town, the carnies will sweep through every retailer secreting valuables or at least edibles under bib overalls, Goth long coats, and fake pregnancy bags.

I like my clear backpack. Finding stuff is easy and hiding stuff ain't hard.

I wonder if we should require a set of fingerprints, a training course, background check, and a month wait, as well as a government permit and a letter explaining why you need it to get one of those little clear backpacks? (one zipper only, don't need any of those high-capacity backpacks out there, ya know!)

A question for a politician: Which right dominates?

A: "...inalienable Rights [to] LIFE, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness..."
B: "... right to bear arms..."

If the pol answers A, they must vote to repeal the 2nd Amendment.
If the pol answers B, they should be shot down where they stand.

The right to live as a "person born" trumps any qualified right to play with firearms. Those who believe otherwise are fair game by their own admission. "You have the right to kill or be killed."

Answer this: Do you have a right to be secure in your person?

The problem with your thinking, and the rest of the Libs, is that NO right "dominates". They are rights. All equally important. Just as your rights do not outweigh mine. Mine do not outweigh yours.

And, Yes, I DO believe I have a right to be secure in my own person. But there are CRIMINALS who believe THEIR rights to steal what I have worked hard for and kill me in the process are the important rights. and YOU fucking SUPPORT them on that. YOU want to GIVE them the right to break into my home and have free reign over me and my family. YOU want them to be able to file a law suit against me if I injure or kill them. YOU believe THEIR right to live is more important than mine.

YOU want to say I don't care about my kids. But I'm not the one trying to keep the bad guys out with a FUCKING SIGN.

It is ILLEGAL to murder. It is ILLEGAL to shoot children. It is ILLEGAL to have a firearm on school property. How many school shootings have the liberal laws stopped? It WAS illegal for Cruz to by ANY gun. Was that MY fault that he did? Was it the NRA's fault that he did? FUCK NO!!! We had NOTHING to do with it.

You want someone to blame? Sheriff Isreal is a good place to start. If he had simply DONE HIS JOB, Cruz would have never been able to buy a gun of ANY kind. The FBI was tipped off to the video he made threatening to become a school shooter and did NOTHING.

NOTHING!

But YOU want to put the blame on a piece of metal and plastic because it looks scary. YOU want to put the blame on 8.5 million Americans who had NOTHING to do with any of this. Explain to me how that makes sense.

Their right to live supersedes your right to own any kind of weapon that you desire.
