I normally just do fanfic, but in the past I dabbled with original fiction ideas. One of them being a world where humans are pets/not the dominant species. I figure the basis of the idea might work for the geek contest here, the fantasy/sci fi one. Or it might be stupid, but here goes.
Female lead is in a heavy heat (humans in this world have visible "heat" or estrus cycles), male lead is a stud purchased by the female lead's owner to sire her young. Male is put in with female and a short interaction occurs where he smells her heat scent (yeah, stronger noses too), causing him to get a rock hard erection, which in turn causes her to get a soaking wet genital area, and they proceed to have primal, animal-like sex multiple times in the span of about a day until her heat is quenched, then the two are separated. The ending will probably be the female lead wondering about the child she is now carrying, and if it's male, if he will be as handsome as his father.
Yeah. Suggestions needed for the dominant species, the "owners". Some kind of alien race for sure, but should they be like, reptiles, mammals, or something else entirely?
Also I'm toying with the idea of the male being a virgin, and picked as a stud because of some trait the breeders value, that he shares with the female. The female will have mated with "teaser males" before, as in, males that have been given vasectomies, but this is her first actual breeding/impregnation. The breeders keep a few of those around their females they don't want to breed yet.
Any other kind of constructive feedback also appreciated. If this idea is too stupid, please say so.
