I'd say you have written a great character then. If you can develop a crush on her, chances are your readers might do as well.

And so long there's no chance of you being able to 3d-print her into some AI life-sex doll, your gf has nothing to worry about.

... then again, you being you, someone might actually ask you to write a story about that. You do seem to attract the weird ones

Many of my characters are based on people I think I've known. Sometimes I compress a few real people into one player; or I expand one real person into several characters. Or I just visualize someone and make them do or say what I (or the voices in my head) want. Maybe I've loved them. Maybe I've hated them. Maybe I only observed amusedly. Or maybe I just invent them and what the fuck, off they go. Whatever.

I do that too. It's hard for me to make create a character I know nothing about or is not a character I can't relate to in some way.
