Andrew McCabe has been fired...

Too bad the drive-by media doesn't have the integrity to take down any of their anti-Trump bullshit.

How quaint that you seem to find total vindication all stemming from a report that has yet to be released or vetted. Yet, you dismiss people that have actually admitted guilt. “well, he only lied to the FBI”.

You dismiss facts as well. Namely, the testimony of Jim Comey who told Congress under oath the agents who interviewed Flynn didn't believe he lied to them. Mueller forced Flynn to make the plea when he ran out of money, had to sell his house to pay his lawyers, and after Mueller threatened his son. That plea may very well be set aside by Emmet Sullivan. The question will be, would Flynn have pled guilty knowing that the FBI agent leading his interview was involved in a conspiracy against him and the President and had a personal inappropriate relationship with the FISA judge hearing his case, a relationship that would days later require that same Judge to recuse himself?

Can't wait for him to challenge this for being politically motivated and sue, then get everything he worked for.

You know, like that Russian traitor Flynn who did even worse yet still retained his benefits.

He can do anything he damn well wants, including suing...........it's the American way ya know?

But both the IG and the OPR recommended that he be canned. The IG happens to be a long standing political ally of the Clinton's and was appointed by Obama, so your allegations of "political' motivation are falling on deaf ears.

It really is as simple as this:

Just to clarify, the words "Members" and "Member" boldfaced above refers to members of the Federal Employees Retirement System. And provisions of the HLOGA make it clear that Members of Congress, the President and Vice President can be members of FERS unless they opt out of the pension system in writing. I point this out to dissuade anyone from arguing that HLOGA ONLY holds members of Congress and elected officials liable to the loss of pension benefits under the law and makes no mention of appointed government employees. Don't be stupid.

Having said that, I don't know what you're whining about Andy. There are only three possible outcomes:

1. The government chooses not to prosecute, in which case you can run around for the rest of your life singing "I told you I was innocent, I TOLD you...!

2. The government prosecutes and you are acquitted, in which case you can run around for the rest of your life singing "I told you I was innocent, I TOLD you...!

3. The government prosecutes and you are convicted, in which case your song is going to be more like "Please put me in a minimum security facility so that I don't get butt fucked by a gorilla."

Since you are confidently predicting #s 1 or 2, what's the problem?

Statutory citations aside, do you agree that it's a dick move to fire a federal law enforcement officer 2 days before he is eligible to receive his pension, for anything but the most egregious crime?

The OPR findings say quite a bit. He lied under oath multiple times on top of leaking classified information, all prosecutable felonies.

What he did was an egregious crime. Obviously the IG and OPR thought so as well.

I don't agree. And the higher up they are the more they deserve to be shut out. No more of this bullshit that "some animals are more equal than others."

Interesting that Trump's lawyer Dowd committed a federal crime this morning, implicating Trump, and is now desperately trying to walk it back.

bullshit

Was it an egregious crime for NY FBI to leak to Rudy Giuliani?

That has nothing to do with the present case, nor would an uncharged or unsolved murder in NY serve to cancel all future prosecutions of the crime of murder there or in other jurisdictions. Each instance of one of the crimes alleged to Mr. McCabe carry a five year federal prison sentence:

18 U.S.C. § 1001 makes it a federal crime for anyone who "in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the Government of the United States, knowingly and willfully ... makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation."

Are you in the apples and oranges section of the local market? Just wondering.

Trump should be doing life plus two hundred years then.

Based on what false statement under oath, or statement to a federal investigator?

Same old shit, different day.

1. Change the subject.

2. Impugn the source (so you can ignore any facts presented).

3. Call names.

All of it right out of the Alinsky playbook.

Where does it specify it has to be under oath to a federal investigator?

In McCabe's case he lied under oath to Congress and to the FBI. In the Federal government it is just as serious to lie to a federal investigator whether under oath or not. So to test your analogy I asked you which of the two possibilities Trump was guilty of. I'm still waiting for your answer.

So you moved the goal posts. Where in the law does it specify it has to be under oath to a federal investigator?

So your outrage and lack of support for law enforcement is case specific?

I thought the GOP was all about law and order?
