vietnam. hence the dogs are timid and run away. occasionally i seethe dog-catcher go by. the mother-fucker has a cage on the back of his little motorcycle. i believe (anecdotal evidence only)that there's a dog restaurant in town somewhere.

i spent some months in canada - in medicine hat,alberta. as far as i can recall, our rations were still british. the pizzas when we got in off the prairie were awesome. and med hat was an interesting place at night. plenty of wildlife.

There are big chain pizzarias there, but only because they can afford to lose money just to be seen in the market. Either you go to 1 of the local chains with only a few locations, or you have the 1 or 2 places you always go to.

there's pizza here, but it's a matter of finding somewhere that's been influenced by a westerner. the local example is too sweet.
