Yes, I agree. I think, for me, anything that isn't rote? If someone says my name regularly it doesn't carry weight, but because Sir literally says my *name* like once in three months it always gets a sigh and a grin.

My partner's been calling me Kitten for almost the entire time we've been together which is where I get the screen name from, and my go to pet name for her is Master. She's obviously the dominant one. At least most of the time.
