SHOTUS surrounds himself with people who can't even get clearance and yet they handle classified information every day.

Any of you dopes want to try and defend that?

LOCK HIM UP!

They are given temp clearances until things are finished. It's kind of normal and not just this admin. Background checks take a lot of time and resources and there are a lot of people who need them.

It's all available on Hillary's bathroom server... soooo

it's kinda hard to get them cleared when they're all liars, traitors and thieves.

We've elected people who otherwise wouldn't get a security clearance.

When Obama was 'elected', we allowed his Chicago-style syndicate to take over the power of the US government to work as organized crime with political power to weaponize any activity it wished.

I get what it takes to get clearance. Rob Porter is not some defence contractor trying to get into a spooky room. He handles top level global intelligence, daily, and works in the WH delivering intelligence to the SHOTUS.

When clearance takes this long temp clearance is typically suspended.

Jared Kushner has not been cleared either. What is he up to - 30 amendments on his disclosure? Another guy whose temp pass should be revoked.

American political history's foremost Tool (so far) has grabbed tons more pussy than you've ever even jacked-off into your father's dirty socks fantasizing of; he's a billionaire while you're still perpetually stuck in junior management at the corner 7-Eleven; he's owned local, national and international beauty contests while you have to settle for peeking in your neighbor's windows so you can keep your eye on "things", and he's screwed scores more women behind their husbands' backs than the measly 25-30 you're so proud of.

JUST. GIVE. IT. UP.

No matter how much you pine, you'll never measure up to The Donald, wannabe.

Not really sure how that relates to the thread topic, but I get the general drift that proper handling classified information properly only applies if you are not the Stable Genius, master of pussy grabbing and object of your admiration.

Sure, I'll take a crack at it.

First you need to read this: https://www.voanews.com/a/security-clearance-explainer/3602747.html

When you are done, given that "clearances aren't given to people; they are attached to jobs," please cite the relevant federal statutes that would deny President Trump from naming whoever he wishes to an appointed position in the Executive branch and concurrently issuing any exemption to that person that would otherwise prevent them from obtaining the required security clearance.

In other words, the FBI doesn't tell the President who he can hire. Ultimately, security clearances are advisory TO the clearance issuing authorities in each government agency.

POTUS can indeed hire anyone (s)he wants, even if they would NEVER receive clearance because restraining orders. But POTUS is then responsible for his hirelings' actions, and for any secure materials he or they release for enemy eyes. The buck stops in the Oval Office... except this POTUS never ever takes responsibility. Alibi Ike always has an excuse, a scapegoat. Burn intel sources, sending some to death? Not his fault, of course.

Except it IS his fault. Everything emerging from the White House -- he owns it all.

I read this and thought to myself, "Hillary is gonna come up within the first 5 responses."

The president also can declassify a memo...but decide against declassifying a rebuttal memo...as he just did.

Why would he do this? Because it highlights his lies. :D

What a president does, that president owns. DJT owns numerous security leaks. DJT owns blowing sources, and their tortures and deaths. DJT owns every lying and insecure word ha and his staff generate.

It's his watch. It's his responsibility. If he cannot accept responsibility he must resign because he has failed to perform his elected job: presiding over (controlling) the Executive branch. Out of control? FAILURE!

well, jesus fucking christ, let's hope they don't have a private email server!

Nope...but 6 of his "advisers" were still using personal email accounts that couldn't be backed up, including his son in law, Jared. This was in Sept last year. Not much flack over that huh? Hypocrites

I should care, but seeing that on both sides of the political coin the FBI has proved untrustworthy and incompetent I find myself thinking who cares?

The clearance thing isn't as big a deal as people make it. The abuse thing tho, that's a big deal. Not so much cuz he did it but because everyone knew and ignored it or tried to cover it up knowing full well it was going to stop him from getting clearance and because he's garbage and nobody seemed to care.

From your article:

According to the federal job-search website Go Government, "Everyone hired for a federal job undergoes a basic background check of his or her criminal and credit histories to ensure that all federal employees are 'reliable, trustworthy, of good conduct and character, and loyal to the United States.'”
