Apparently that part of my body works just fine, especially when I am trying to sleep. It likes to announce itself every hour or two.![]()
Zzzzzzz
Just off to bed after a long day writing reports, training rookies and writing reports.
It’s cold, freezing and I need someone to keep me warm. Alas my man isn’t here!
Goodnight CPI
Oh Pinky, I don't ever want to hear of you skipping meals. That makes me sour. You must take better care of yourself, than that. Don't make me have to get out the paddle!!
Nothing much irl. Chatting with friends online. Had a bit of work to do today which is always good. Makes the day go faster. Skipped lunch in favor of chatting earlier so quite hungry now. Lunch is my first meal of the day so if I miss it, its nil by mouth till home timeAnd that's it
nothing else to report.
I see Chris is sleeping on the couch shall we draw on his face?
Uggg![]()
Haven't seen CG in awhile? Anyone got eyes on the sea man?
Hasn't been in here since the first of Feb?

He’ll be back when he’s ready.

*Stuffs a rose snack down your gullet and makes you chew*
Been a very heavy day today, one of our predecessors, a Cadet near his commission died of cancer a fortnight ago. Although we never met him he was one of us and we were proud to don our dress uniforms and attend his funeral today. He rightly received full military honours. My heart went out to his fiancée (a young corporal). She was so brave standing with his parents.
Then we had physical training! Very demanding.
So if no one minds I don’t feel like chatting too much today, I’ll quietly go to my bed and thank God, wherever and whoever he or she is, for what I’ve got.
Goodnight CPI
I spent some time on a detail that was dedicated to military honors for those who had passed. Is was one of the greatest honors that I never wanted. Because it was an honor for us(young men at the time) we would get out of bed and be on the pad by 3:30am in the morning to practice. Change for PT then we would spend a full duty day doing our normal work load. And after last chow we would be back on the pad till 9 or 10 at night(Monday-Friday). Then Saturday and Sunday were our get it right days. We would sleep in till 4 the hit the pad till around 9 or 10 (only stopping for meals and smoke breaks). Our unit pictured in for our uniforms to be fitted professionally. And we would spend days making sure everything was perfect weapons, uniforms, hair, salute, the 3 brass rounds, starched flags, it all had to be the best or we would replace it sometimes out of our own pockets. When our practice time was over We would travel one day preform our duties, travel a day preform our duties. Practice every chance we got. The pull of the trigger was one perfect sound. The fold of the flag was flawless. We even practised in the van when we could. Our driver hated the sound of Taps, he could stand the sound of our weapons clicking when the hammer fell, but he never said a word. It was he'll but it was worth every second when an old guard would shake our hands and thank us for the honors.
Remember the deed, honor the dead, celebrate life.
Tomorrow is not promised.
Well this is just fine and dandy of you people. Here I am up at a ridiculous time and you haven't been talking and giving me something to read. Get busy people.![]()
My condolences, Sal and Robyn. It never gets easier to lose someone. But time will help. Let us know if you need some distracting.
*Smirking while looking at Chris and glances over to Uggg...* It was Pinky. He's positively blushing.
*hugs everyone else* Hope this day was a fine one. Still missing CG as well. Hope he's doing alright.
Sorry you haven’t seen much of us these last few days. Yesterday was emotional and tougher than we imagined and I’m not ashamed to say I shed a few tears as did Sal. Today we had training with the Royal Marines and then a lecture (girls only) about what happens if we fall pregnant.
My head is buzzing so we’re off for a drink. Catch you later. Missing CG, surrounding him in love.
blushes
Oh I guess it must have been me then
that's odd, There seems to be a hole in my memory!

That's because if a male gets pregnant he will never hear the end of it.![]()
