Good stuff, as it relates to my current dilema. I'm mixed blood and often mistaken as an "illegal immigrant" lately by strangers. Slowly, over many years, I've helped immigrants obtain legal status because they so strongly want/wanted it. Mostly, I've done so by empathizing and connecting them to the right persons. Also, giving them rides to critical appointments, arranging meetings, etc.. Attempting to use nonviolent, diplomatic methods. Mostly, it's been successful. Oh, it's become so troublesome and time consuming as a direct/indirect result. But I've aquired many close friends along the way. Just being there for them as a human being is important on an emotional level. All good people, I think. Not really trying to be friends, but trying to do what I feel is right based upon my own past experiences with terrible people woefully misinformed. So, naturally, my name got around and people began to seek me out.

Recently, I've had a series of horrifying events that began when I was unconscious in a hospital for a few days and began rehabilitation to become normal again. I've always been a prideful person, not really accepting help when offered, but left w/out the convenience of choice now to accept such help. Word's getting around to those I've helped in the past, and now they're coming to my aide. And I'm very grateful for whatever these friends can do for me.

That 100k thing's been around since the 80s. Nothing to do w/Trump. It's available to ALL active military IF they choose the option to be deducted from their pay. Once HONORABLY discharged, they have the option of continued death benefit if they pay out of pocket monthly.

Every single lefty who supports no border control, not deporting illegal aliens, supporting illegal aliens to the expense and detriment of US citizens in a variety of ways condones his actions and reveres him as a hero.

Because they condone the politics that enable it.

The right wing does care, they just aren't willing to sac their civil rights, not shockingly the lefts ONLY response as a solution, in an attempt to mitigate some of the damage.
