I do not believe in soul mates, but I do believe in mates that can twine into your soul. Through love, time, and hard work, one can have a partner that is as close to a soulmate as possible.

there was a time, when words where everything. they carried, expressed, conveyed ones thoughts and , very much ones feelings. i fear it is not so with times today. so many words are whisp of steam, and the meanings complex. yet we reach for them to share what one means.

one that i trust deeper than a friend. and surely one, that is well past ' click '. this is the word, one uses to to express how safe i feel, with you. how i will be there for and with you, any time of day. cause the utter joy you have brought into my life. i see now, was not a life. . without you. and so, with the likes of such. words get in the way. when a touch or that look, any look really. the sound of your voice. tells me all i need to know. that you are still with me, and i joy in that.

I've always thought soulmates as well as the old saying that "you'll know" when it's right.... was a bunch of crap.

My woman has made me rethink those thoughts. She is so incredibly suited for me.


I tell her often that I couldn't have "weird scienced her any better"...

Just shy of a year after posting that, I married the woman of my dreams. A beautiful, fiery, sexy redhead.. intelligent, witty, thoughtful, considerate, my partner, best friend, lover.. she is everything I ever dreamed about and things I never thought of.

We've been together a little over two years.. the best two years of my life. I'm ridiculously blessed. So, for someone that never believed in soul mates, consider me schooled.
