Notice I didn't call it shit. Because it all IS plausible and probably DOES occur within our space-time nexus. It's just not common AFAIK. I mean, my eyes hurt then, but I didn't feel like ripping them out. And the ancestors I spoke to weren't too creepy or anything. Great-grandma mumbled a lot.

But truth: the active dose isn't much smaller than the lethal dose. I'm not sure about levels of habitual datura use in USA now. Is there data online? Have datura zombies been tracked?
 
 
I like some weed now and then. Never ate my eyeballs tho. I think I'd remember doing that.

Pretty sure you're talking about meth here. I've actually met a tweaker who scratched through his eyelid and in to his cornea.
