The Dow index will continue rising.

No, no, no. He meant POTUS was to blame for the shutdown. As SCROTUS, he is not responsible. You would have to look far and wide to find someone more irresponsible than he is.

Naw, Donnie's Shutdown Party is that $100k-per-plate fiesta at Mar-a-Lago. In honor of the shutdown, all resort staff (mostly aliens) will go unpaid.

Meanwhile, 60% of IRS staff will be furloughed indefinitely, so employers and taxpayers will have no idea what withholding and enforcement details to expect. Multinational corporations will seize the opportunity to launder a pile of overseas cash into seemingly-legal USA accounts. Bonanza!

Interior Dept staff will also be put on vacation. Hey, nobody will notice when national parks are drilled and paved. Make Gettysburg the James Watt Nat'l Parking Lot. Independence Hall will be the Fred Trump Nat'l Latrine. Etc.

The power company and banker don't give a damn WHY you can't pay.

1) making the (D) strategy to do exactly the thing they say is so terrible not only a grand display of hypocrisy but also shooting themselves in the foot.

2) you can post it all day long....the congress critters have claimed this openly as their "strategy" to get their way, proving they aren't any different than (R)'s.

Yea......too bad (D)'s don't care about these people, maybe they wouldn't be so ready to punish the needy and vulnerable for their own petty partisan showboating.


Better yet too bad (D)'s are more intent on taking care of illegal aliens than their own citizens..... that kind of virtue signaling will work out well for them this year for sure!

I think (R)'s should get all self righteous about taking care of our own people with lavish welfare programs....just so we can watch them all scream "Fuck the poor!!" just to spite the (R)'s.
 
All Presidents hem and haw around the subject of shutting down government. Trump is the only one that would actually do it.
