What we're dealing with here is a Democrat Party bound and determined to bring unsophisticated people into the United states to the exclusion of more success oriented people. They do this in order to bring people ignorant enough to need big government programs to survive, people who will vote for them, even knowing doing so will diminish the country and our American culture. Democrats and democrat policy is destructive to the country and its future. That is the problem we're having today. Right against left is right against wrong.

The median household income for Haitians in 2015 was lower than that of the overall foreign-born population, but higher than for Caribbean immigrant households. Haitian immigrant households had a median income of $47,200 in 2015 dollars, compared to $51,500 for foreign-born households and $42,400 for Caribbean households. For comparison, the median income for households headed by the native born was $56,500.

Haitians were about as likely to live in poverty as the overall immigrant population (18 percent compared to 17 percent) and the Caribbean foreign-born population (19 percent).

Dick Durbin, it should be noted, has quite a history of making hyperbolic statements accusing fellow Americans of terrible things.

Here are a few notable examples:

Durbin in June 2005: accused American troops of using techniques used by the Nazis, the Soviets and the Khmer Rouge.

Durbin in March of 2015 accused Republicans holding up Loretta Lynch's confirmation vote of both sexism and racism.

Durbin to Jeff Sessions at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Jan. of 2017 said "there is not a spot of evidence" that as attorney general Sessions would treat illegal immigration in "a fair and humane manner."
