California Governor Jerry Brown said legal rulings may clear the way for making cuts to public pension benefits, which would go against long-standing assumptions and potentially provide financial relief to the state and its local governments.

Across the country, states and local governments have about $1.7 trillion less than what they need to cover retirement benefits -- the result of investment losses, the failure by governments to make adequate contributions and perks granted in boom times.

Does it excite you that hard-working, tax-paying public servants are about to have their pension benefits reduced?

We were not the ones who promised them checks that our asses could not cash. "Excitement?" No. What you witness are people who understand that the checks of good intentions seem to have a way of turning to shit; like that teacher in Louisiana who was finally woke to understanding that all raises and promises are only realized by those on the top. I like to think of it as the Venezuelan reckoning. All the good shit they demanded, voted and protested for only enabled those at the top. The teachers won't get a bailout, but everyone who instituted the "promises" has a golden parachute.

No. This pension scam run by public employee unions buying political influence should have been put down decades ago. They work in opposition to the civil society who pays their way instead of for them.

Brown and his communists are in open rebellion against the private sector and the United States in general.

The price will be paid. Soon, he will be singing, All my exes are in Texas that why I'm in happiness!

A hint of possible national suicide is how he was able to fool a generation of today's young people that he wasn't just a can full of burbling bean music.:(
