From CNN:

Yale psychiatrist briefed members of Congress on Trump's mental fitness

A dozen lawmakers from the House and Senate received a briefing from Yale psychiatrist Dr. Bandy X. Lee on Capitol Hill in early December about President Donald Trump's fitness to be president -- and Lee has been asked to speak with additional lawmakers, worried about the President's mental state, later this month.

"Lawmakers were saying they have been very concerned about this, the President's dangerousness, the dangers that his mental instability poses on the nation," Lee told CNN in a phone interview Thursday, "They know the concern is universal among Democrats, but it really depends on Republicans, they said. Some knew of Republicans that were concerned, maybe equally concerned, but whether they would act on those concerns was their worry."

It's nothing too surprising, but embarrassing nonetheless.

Lemme get this straight...Democrats are concerned with his mental stability...and Republicans aren't...gotcha:D

Actually what concerns me is NK asked SK to meet and talk and the dumbass had to take another twitter jab at NK...like WTF..something might finally be working...stfu

APA President Maria A. Oquendo "The unique atmosphere of this year's election cycle may lead some to want to psychoanalyze the candidates, but to do so would not only be unethical, it would be irresponsible."

Yes, it would be irresponsible to diagnose his extreme paranoia and impending dementia BEFORE he launches on North Korea.

Gee, where have we heard thst line of speculation before?

Oh, that's right, in 1964. You know, when members of The American Psychiatric Association embarrassed themselves and ignored their professional standards for political gain, resulting in what is now known as the Goldwater rule.

Which they are currently violating once again.

I don't think the left is ever had an original thought. They just keep running the same hack plays out of the same tired playbook. That's actually what got Trump elected and will get him re-elected.

^^^^ This.

And since ALL Republicans are certifiably crazy then it follows that they are ALL unfit for office. So why hold elections at all?

Checking the playbook once again. Ah, yes, here it is: "Blue Left, FU2 infinity, on one, ready, BREAK!"

No, that is hyperbole. No one is talking about all Republicans. This is not an issue of partisanship. Democrats thought Bushes I and II were wrong, but not crazy. Same situation as the view of Republican Congressional and Senate leaders.

This is about an individual who regularly denies facts, denies science, specializes in juvenile insults, has extreme bouts of volatility, cannot tolerate criticism, and is extremely self-absorbed. If you do not acknowledge these and other aspects of a likely significant personality disorder, you are probably blinded by partisanship yourself.

Speaking of obvious personality disorders. . .

So, it's making it's rounds on CNN talk show uh-gain? It's not new. This was something discussed.....gee, I forget how long ago. 6 months to a year at least. I tend to promptly ignore shrinks claiming to be "professional" psychiatrists. Usually it just another "professional" on someone else's payroll. This time it's the demoquacks.

Did you read your link? Dr. Lee is observing Trump's behavior from afar to make her "professional diagnosis". (Aren't we all doing that?) Dr. Lee has also made it clear she's NOT in a position to diagnose the President.

Basically, she's putting out a bunch of bullshit and somehow managed to get everyone's attention. Yale University is not commenting on her. The American Psychiatric Association bans psychiatrists from diagnosing patients without a formal examination. She may be out of a job very soon with that kind of approach and attention. I expect her BS to backfire.

So the Russians aren't bored. Duh.

Convenient.

The Goldwater rule seem to be perfectly fine when nobody wanted to diagnose Clinton's obvious pathologies.

Times may be a changin'...

Goldwater rule? Should psychiatrists be allowed to publicly comment on mental health of public figures?

The rationale for the Goldwater Rule -- which prohibits psychiatrists from publicly commenting on the mental health of public figures they have not examined in person -- does not hold up to current scientific scrutiny, a new analysis finds.

anyone in any profession should be able to comment on the health of public figures. there should be no gag orders on expressing an opinion on any world leader. people, both educated and not, should be able to express their view points, and if they carry a PHD and MD behind their names, they will know to state the evaluation has not been done in a professional setting. these people argue science, when the can not even define science. when they state science does not exist.

they will keep the don bionically alive. if anything just to fuck with psychiatrists.

HRC's obvious pathologies:

* Female
* Methodist
* Moderate
* Educated
* Pragmatic
* Competent

No, I didn't vote for her, nor for Wee Willie nor Gore nor Kerry nor Obama nor any of their ilk. Being in California, I didn't need to.

Someone else can list Tromp's obvious pathologies. I don't have time now.

As to competence, offer one example from her days leading State.

Yeah, I thought that when you make a diagnosis without ever even meeting the patient, that it is somewhat along the lines of malpractice. Where were these clowns when it came to examining President Obama's Messiah Complex?

Considering the fit he is giving the Lib's I'd say pretty fucking good!

I just read a passage by Tom Wolfe in his novel, "Back to Blood," which described the modern Liberal in a manner that caused me to think, I've never thought of that; it's about the basic human nature of six-year olds.

Why are you cherry-picking his tweet to manufacture an alternative reality?
