Aren't We Having A Death Pool This Year?

I think the death pool needs to die. I almost didn't participate last year. I guess it's a personal thing. When the inevitability of death starts to loom as a stark reality it ceases to become frivolous.

TheRob has to allocate his time to manning the Georges.
His Dick Fagman has been enjoying a warmer reception than RDS, so it's understandable he would be shortchanging RDS posts and threads these days.
He used to do a better job of avoiding spewing his most vile vitriol in threads that he assumes the general population might read. He used to save that for threads that others ignore. Now, formerly neutral to friendly posters avoid him mostly.
He's been decompensating a lot lately. I'm not sure if it's just age or if he's simply phoning it in. He's pretty easy to fully windup these days. I maintain that a lot of it is just sheer crankiness out of both physiological and psychological hunger.
