Former President Barack Obama told Britain’s Prince Harry in a BBC 4 interview that hashtags alone do not bring about social change.

The Obama administration was notorious for using hashtags in lieu of actual diplomacy or military action to address urgent problems.

The strategy reached its zenith (or nadir) in 2014, when First Lady Michelle Obama tweeted “#BringBackOurGirls” in response to the mass abduction of Nigerian schoolgirls by the terrorist group Boko Haram.

That's a rather harsh way of talking about Trump. :D

I was referring to Michelle's hashtag effort, but you knew that. The president is orders of magnitude more effective with his tweets. Totally leapfrogging the deep state and it media voice.

You just compared a civilian's hashtag to the "President's" tweets.

AND called them effective. Which dumbass tweet do you think was most "effective"?

First of all you dumb fucks have to understand the purpose of those tweets. In that sense they are very effective. Michelle's hashtag might as well have been a hash mark for all of it's effectiveness. :D:rolleyes:
