will invest further $1 billion

other companies follow suit

ALL DUMZ VOTED AGAINST

What other companies are following suit (assuming they don't go the Trump route and declare they are doing something they don't actually do)? Are they companies that are trying to get administration backing for problematic merger plans like AT&T has?

You are easily led around by the nose by these folks, aren't you? :D

Fifth Third Bancorp Unveils Bonuses, Minimum Wage Hike After Tax Bill Passage

Democrats are seething the best they could do with the AT&T news was say it was a bonus and not a raise. So now raises are coming too. Astonishing how letting more people keep what they earn spreads the wealth.

I can wait and see what happens in the longer term. You seem to be the one who's rushing to judgments and sweating the outcome between the two of us. :)

Let's see if the Trumps bring their manufacturing businesses back to the States.

FedEx projects a nearly $1.5 billion earnings boost from tax cut

FedEx said the Republican-backed tax bill would deliver it a windfall: nearly $1.5 billion in higher earnings next year.

Other companies, such as AT&T rushed to cheer the tax bill, announcing bonuses for employees and other investments. The telecom giant said 200,000 employees would receive $1,000 bonuses. Boeing said it would spend $300 million on charitable and employee investments, including worker training and facilities.

DUMZ ALL VOTED AGAINST

Dumz are dumb and will be remembered on election day as voting against the American people in favor of big government. Serves them right.

Democrats are some of the dumbest people in America. Today's pronouncements by major companies raising wages and handing out bonuses put the lie to their bullshit. Too friggin ignorant for words.

You keep getting kicked in the CUNT

Update 6:30 p.m.: Comcast-NBC Universal and Wells Fargo have joined with several other businesses to announce plans to use money saved by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act for investments and bonuses. Comcast will award $1,000 bonuses to over 100 thousand employees and invest $50 billion over the next five years in infrastructure, due not only to the passage of the GOP tax-reform bill but also the repeal of net neutrality. Wells-Fargo will match Fifth-Third’s $15 minimum wage hike and intends to reach up to $400 million in philanthropic donations.

Ooo, more gay bashing. I'll have to remember that I need to go off in the corner and cry now. :D

And, again, to review my stock portfolio to see how much richer this tax bill is going to make me. It's certainly a good thing that I have the same health coverage as those in Congress do (which means, among other things, that someone else is paying for it) so that my stock and tax cut gains won't be overwhelmed by increased health insurance premiums. :)

where do you see that?

If everyone is getting a tax cut and little Marco made sure his voting illegals get even more free money just for filing, isn't that more of a trickle sideways? Peeing on the side of the Alamo?

The bill has not yet been signed and already paradise is Just Around the Corner.

But wait... those promised bonuses are taxable income, pushing some recipients into higher brackets, so they'll end up paying MORE taxes... which will subsidize businesses moving production (and jobs) overseas to avoid US corporate taxes that they aren't already avoiding. Cute game, hey?

I'm sorry, but since I logged on this morning, all I've seen is Paradise Lost.

The sky is falling!
