I understand the new world concept Uggg is talking about but for me it was sitting my ass on the chopper or strapping in to a C130 with tanks on my back. But for me it wasn't the world that made the transformation it was me. I didn't get to SCUBA much, but im pretty good with the on the ground or in the air.

Hell yes now there's a thrilling memory I almost forgot I had! first ever hi speed low altitude chopper ride with the side doors open! holy hell that's white knuckle fun!

Now see I never cared for those. I saw them a necessary evil. The chopper pilot I rode behind called them bushel runs. Because if they didn't fly close enough to the ground to collect a bushel of vegetation than they were to high off the ground.

I love all of you

We're locked in our quarters working on a 5,000 word essay on Military Discipline since 1700. We're allowed to help each other but the finished product has to be 'ours'. To keep the brain ticking we woke up at 0530 hours, we're going for a run (only about 2 miles today) then breakfast. Tonight we'll probably take a swim in.

I've done a bit of scuba and if I want my NRR badges I'll need to do more so I might pick some brains in the Spring.

Ok, Supergirl is finally in her track suite, let's get running. Anyone want to join us?

Can’t stop, too much studying to complete by 10:00 hours Monday when our essay has to be handed in. But I thought you’d like to know that the injuries sustained by the Lions yesterday were minor flash burns from incoming missiles and nothing serious. None of the patrons of the inn were harmed in any way.

Well Sal and I have really worked hard today getting our heads round this essay. Now we’ve got a session with our tutor tomorrow to bounce ideas of her then we submit our work on Monday.

Now for a swim to exercise our bodies and get this cobwebs out of our minds. Then a nice meal together to celebrate our friendship.

Hi CG, Shiva, Uggg, RT, Glad, sorry I haven't been on much either. Got this huge essay to complete thats keeping both Supergirl and me busy.

No news from the Lions which probably means they're getting settled in which takes time. I was out there in the summer with our own divisions and I know how lucky ng it takes even without the enemy firing on us. It took me a full 4 weeks to get on first name terms with the cockroaches.

Cockroaches Sal they seem to travel with the Army Navy Air Force and even the Coast Guard. Miserable little hitch hikers come in on stores......Yuck
