Lol sorry for the typo, sir. Enjoy your weekend I will try to reply for you.

Good Morning Campers!

We have a free weekend but lots of study to catch up on. So it’s business and pleasure. Study and swimming before I have a phone chat with my man tonight.

Hope everyone is good today.

Wife got this last night at a party, lest see if this posts properly. For us silly Americans this is probably funnier than it is for the lovely Birts.

This is my Kryptonite. Italian sweet bread. With chocolate chips or with fruit pieces.

Yes I know that my wife's combat boots are in the picture behind the bread. And that is the next generation playing with one of the boots

I love that too. Btw the politically correct brigade have renamed ‘Spotty Dick’ and call it ‘Speckled Richard’.

Storm and I have been invited to play rugby tomorrow for a local girl’s team.

That's because if you are an American and you have a Spotted Dick, you have to get a vaccine and antibiotics. :nana:
I know a few soldiers here who play the game. Good luck.

We get this here in the US when trying to play the video.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. It's already evening here and I don't feel like I've done anything worthwhile today.

I just said ‘Bugger!’ I’ll try to find an alternative.

LS, I swam, caught up on homework and got set for Rugby tomorrow. Phone call with my man tonight.

We went to see the 'Moving Wall' today and pay our respects. It's here thru tomorrow. Would like to go to Washington somtime and see the actual one, and the other sights.

I’d love to see that, stand, salute and pay my respects. Brave men and women honoured for their courage.

I’ve got to get to my room. Phone call expected soon.

Had a good day swimming, studying and then a call from a local women's rugby team asking for help. Checked with the Principle who said we could help. Keep us fit.

Supergirl is chatting with her man and it's gone midnight here. Time for bed me thinks

One of the things I love about the moon is that it is seen by everyone no matter where they are in the world. Friends halfway across the globe see the same moon as I see here on my little hill.

I hope all my friends near and far are safe and warm tonight.

Good Morning SF

Strangely Steve and I mentioned the moon last night and how we have a link by looking at it.

Here the rugby match has been called off because of snow while we now have our weekend cancelled and have been ‘asked’ to organise digging out stranded pensioners. As Officer Cadets we’ve been put in charge of soldiers twice our age! Should be interesting!

What a day of true team building, not on the rugby field but in the British snow. Working with regulars and reserves twice our age we managed to get them working together by rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck in restoring power, getting food supplies through, opening roads and working as a team.

Now guess what we have to do tomorrow? Write up a report! Ugggh! No - not him! Lol

Here in the US, winter storm Benji hit the Gulf coast states pretty hard, places that rarely see snow. All along the coast, from Corpus Christi (in Texas) to the Florida panhandle 6-7 inches was common, with 18 inches hitting parts of Georgia. We didn’t get any of it here though, which is fine with me.

Meanwhile in South Dakota a place known for its snow and ice storms, it's melting or completely clear.

Did your call interrupt his viewing the Army Navy Game, if he was able to receive it? They were in the last quarter when you posted you were off to make the call.

He sent me a text asking me to hold back my call. When we spoke I had to cheer him up. Seems the Navy lost by a single point and a last minute field goal miss.

But I’m an army girl so I could me magnanimous in victory lol

Now I know why 'Supergirl' is so popular. Not only does she give orders but she does the work too. I learned so much from her today, so I know true leadership is rolling up sleeves and getting on with it alongside the ranks.

She told me Lt GG ('Xena') had told her 'Never order anyone todo something you yourself wouldn't do'.

Thank you 'Supergirl'.
