The China Pearl Inn part 7

We’re packed, prepared and ready to go. I’ve spoken to my parents and they have agreed to ensure Mr Darcy gets a good Christmas.

Right now I want to pay tribute to the inn, it’s cliental, CG our host and that wicked scoundrel Phoo Ming. I urge you to continue to support CG, he’s a very important guy. We’re off to do our bit for the free world. CG was doing that when I was in nappies (diapers for my American friends). He’s a hero who has earned our respect and I know his advice has been very useful to the Lionesses.

I’ll keep an eye on the Inn from the shadows and I will post when I can. Unless Mad Haircut decides to plunge us all into nuclear war I’ll return early April (after a skiing trip to Austria in March with Rick, HSG & Mr T).

Meanwhile I’ll email a photo from last night to those who’s email addresses I have.

I turn, salute, and fade back to the real world.

I fear the Inn will be a very quiet place while you gals are deployed G G. I shall like you post when I can a tease Robyn and Sal when they stop by. ;)

G G, HSG, and Rose don't forget to keep your butt down as well.;)

So S F do you miss your roommate the lizard?

Ladies I am a Christian as such I Pray that God keep you and protect to till you are safely returned to us, but just in case the Catholics have it right i pray the saint Michael watch over you and return you to this place of peace. Either way your glasses of your favorite drinks will be kept ready and waiting for your return.

I glance at the floor when I walk by the bedroom but no sightings. Either it is under the bed hibernating or it figured out how to get out of the house. Of course there is always a more fatal possibility. All I know is that the floor gets COLD.

Ladies be safe and come back in one piece. Your presence will be missed, but I suppose we can share you with the rest of the world.

*Saluting her in return* you will do great. I believe in you and know that you’ll do your best. Take care and know that your friends will always be here thinking of you.

This! I didn’t know you were all leaving! I’m sorry I didn’t take more time to catch up when I should have. Please be safe out there. Love you ladies.

You’ve still got Sally and me because we’re at Officer Academy. I never thought I’d miss the Lionesses so much but after the weekend’s party I wish I was going with them. Anyone who’s ever served will know the bond that’s formed is closer than family (right CG?) and cannot be put into words.

I never served, but after spending a couple of years running into burning buildings and pulling people out of mangled hunks of metal there is absolutely a kinship that develops that cannot be described.

Good morning!:rose:

*Pours a coffee and finds a corner table*

Uggg

I called NRR HQ, the 'Lions and Lionesses' departed on time and should land in around another 2-3 hours and will be escorted to their new base. Tomorrow they rest then they begin to take over security from the 'Panthers' who will return to HQ at the weekend.

Sal and I are being trained this week in how to train women to defend themselves in hand to hand conflict with men. Most girls would say 'kick 'em where it hurts' but it's not as easy as that lol.

Hope everyone in the inn is well.

Knees and throats are better targets than the groin any day, any assailant. If the can't breath or walk the fight is pretty much over. Broken noses blind but it's only temporary. Broken arms can still be weapons if they can fight through the pain.
Remember when it comes time to use the force that you have to, you are not sparing with a partner. I have that problem sometimes. I hit then stop and wait, don't! Hit till they stop then hit them again.
Inforce in their mind that messing with you is all about pain and broken bones for them. You can do this most of the time without breaking anything serious.
I teach my wife (self defense and firearms) and I will teach my daughter when she is old enough.
I am a member of a group that does European midevil martial arts(mass group "sword" fighting). It is mostly the same training soldiers would have had it the time of armored combat.

I don't like violence but I will do what I have to in order to get home in one piece.

We’ve spent a day and a half learning these skills and now we have to write up what we’ve learned. Tomorrow we have to teach new recruits what we’ve learned. It really gives us confidence in daily life as well as in the military.

RT, you and FHD are on the right path, but we also had to learn how to disarm an enemy who has a knife and how to negotiate the release of hostages.

Was your training like this Sir (addressing CG Raven).

Btw the Lionesses arrived at destination safe and sound.

I was not sure how far they would teach. That gets pretty advanced in a short time. It is good to see disarming being taught.
I confess that I was not taught hostage negotiations much. I was told if I was negotiating then I had not shot them in the right place enough times. Not that that answer is right for every occasion.
And martial arts will help with body mechanics, self discipline, and confidence.i would recommend continued training wherever you can find it.

"If you train beyond what NATO offers, then you are better trained than what your enemies can train aginst." - my former H-2-H instructor

Yeah, I have a martial arts background. There are plenty of soft points on the body if you know where and how to hit them.

I think this is something every woman should learn honestly. If there were more self defense classes with some basic strikes taught until they became muscle memory there would be a lot less rape.

If I ever have a little girl I sure as he'll am going to teach her to break his nose with a palm strike, (or headbutt if grabbed from behind) stomp the foot with all her force, groin kick. Egress and call the police.

FHD no offense intended but I prefer shin rake into a foot stomp as apposed to a straight foot stomp. It takes just a little more aim but, it takes a lot more out of an attacker. This is best done in boots from my experience.

Many of the bones of the foot are so easy to shatter. It requires very little aim and just pressure with the ball of the foot.

You are right, wrecking the shin bone is great, but it requires much more force, aim and the right angle of attack.

I am not talking about self defense for combat. I am talking about basic self defense for someone who is going to be out in any given situation regardless of attire or profession.

Palm strikes, foot stomps, hyper extending the elbow are all simple and quick. Disable and egress.

Eek!

 So much violence in here this morning!

:heart:Where is the love?

lol.

Can someone pass me that bottle of Gin from over there? I'm gonna see if I can find the love hiding in the bottom.

Uggg it's not about the violence but the proper use of force to prevent violent people from adding more victims to the world.

[Slides the gin and tonic bottles over to Uggg]

I have spent a life time being a man willing to do what was needed so that the rest of the world could think it was more peaceful than it really is.

No! No!

I said the gin not the bourbon!

*Uggg swigs the bourbon and hulks out*

Thumb to pop the eye from the socket!

Hands behind the head, pull the shirt up and the head down at the same time.

Knee to the face.

Take a hold of the wrist and put a foot behind theirs as they step back. Follow with a shoulder to knock them over.

Use your hand on their wrist to twist them as they fall as if your going to twist their wrist behind their back but isntead hold their arm straight and fall on it with all your weight to pop it out of the socket.

Bite a big chunk of their ear off!

Smile!:D You're pretty when you have blood in your teeth. :rose::kiss:

*Uggg's bourbon wears off.*

*shakes head*

Hey what were we talking about?
