I agree, but this is a civil matter at present involving a private employment workplace issue. Matt can bring suit in court if he feels he's been wrongly accused. We don't know the conditions of his release either, his compensation, or whether he accepted the conditions of his termination.

Yes! Let me ask you this: How does this shit happen in the first place? Aren't these obscenely well compensated assholes busy? I get up. I go to work. I work ALL day. At 5 o'clock I call home and ask my wife if she needs anything on my way home from work, and then I leave. I'm always with people. I don't go out to linch or dinner.Even if I wanted to do something inappropriate in the workplace, I wouldn't have time. People are not working hard enough and they have too much time on their hands.

Well, to fire the Face of the NBC News franchise, 24 hours after receiving the "allocation" that would have to be one hell of an allegation. Which, by the way was exactly how Matt posed a question to O'Reilly regarding his firing. I know the definition of "Intolerable" but I'm not any kind of fan of word definitions. One thing I do consider intolerable, however, is the concept of guilty until proven innocent, or that an allegation is proof of guilt.
