My grandson, a first-grader, informed me of this today, only hours after learning it in his first grade class.
The propaganda starts early, doesn't it?

You are a dumbass. Damn, you produced a spawn? This is how ignorance is passed to the next generation.

It's probably asking too much to seek a more sophisticated explanation of your point of view, or do you actually believe Squanto invented Thanksgiving?
That's it, isn't it?

Damn, ain't that a bitch?

Next thing you know, they're gonna teach him that Squanto was a slave who learned english after getting captured by colonizers and sent to the Olde Worlde for a spell instead of the basic beige pilgrims-loved-the-indians-from-first-sight malarkey I grew up with:

I prefer my history to be factual. If Squanto is important enough to mention, tell the truth about him. He was taken captive by an advanced civilization, one that had been utilizing the wheel for centuries. He and members of his tribe could not comprehend firearms, and while they put together a nice canoe, the ships whitey brought to the New World were something they couldn't hope to construct.

Tisquantum's knowledge and eventual bilingualism was also crucial in assisting the advanced civilized colonizing whiteys survive their initial years of harsh struggling to take over and tame (exploit) the savage, brutal, uncivilized New World.

Who knows what more nifty gems they could've bled dry from his bones as the original broken english-speaking Injun sidekick before the alien diseases they brought over did him and countless other Native Americans in, making it so much easier to steamroll over them with their flintlocks. Too bad wheels couldn't teach those advanced whiteys the concept of germs at that time, much less agricultural knowledge on a different continent.

Now that's some factual shit for you. :D Hopefully your grandson does something better in the future with having learned the verity of the world and how it was structured earlier on than his forebears did at his age.

Cuz kids' animation can only do so much truthiness before it becomes clichéd tropes:

"My Uncle told me"....
Quoting Trump?
So the Iran deal – any time, anywhere, we want to be able to inspect. They got 24 days and notice provisions and all. By the time, it could be months and months and months. By that time it’s gone.
But you know what irks me? Look, having nuclear. My uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer. Dr. John Trump at MIT. Good genes. Very good genes, okay? The Wharton School of Finance. Very good. Very smart.
You know, if you’re a conservative Republican – if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world. It’s true.
But when you’re a conservative Republican, they try – oh, do they do a number…That’s why I always start – went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, build a fortune. You know, I have to give my credentials all the time because we’re a little disadvantaged.
But you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me – it would have been so easy. And it’s not as important as these lives are – nuclear is so powerful.
My uncle explained that to me many, many years ago the power and that was 35 years ago. He would explain the power of what was going to happen and he was right. Who would have thought?
But when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners. Now, it used to be three. Now it’s four. But when it was three and even now I would have said it’s all in the messenger.
Fellas. And it is fellas because you know they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men. So you know, it’s going to take them about another 150 years.
But the Persians are great negotiators. The Iranians are great negotiators. And they just killed. They just killed us. This is horrible.

Was Trump in the quote line? NO.l!
No one was in the quote line, so you left us to guess who you were quoting.
My guess was Trump since he made a well known extraneous "My uncle told me..." statement and I know you're a Trump fan.

We should also teach the children that the first Indian alphabet was developed in the 1820s. Except it wasn't an alphabet, it was a syllabary, like the one the proto-writing Greeks used in the Bronze Age 5,000 years ago.

I imagine written language was pretty scary and dangerous looking to people who knew nothing of it. Or magical.

Squanto invented that green bean casserole with cream of mushroom soup and crispy fried onions on top.

Then one day the Indians brought Fruit cake, and we put it on trebuchets and bombed their villages
The dark part of our history that nobody wants to talk about.

Let's talk factual history.

You've always been a nobody.

You'll always be a nobody.

Depends on what you mean by 'Indians' and 'written'. In Mexico, Mayas are 'indios' (often referred to by pale spawn of hidalgos as something like "fucking indians"). Mayan glyphs, their remarkable calendar, and invention of 'zero', date to sometime BCE. Other Mesoamerican writing systems go 'way back, too.

Europeans and Indians exchanged diseases. Syphilis, appearing just after the return of Columbus, killed a good many Europeans. Euro germs killed maybe 90% of Indians along the Atlantic coast. The first Euro explorers described bustling, vibrant cultures. Those following them found vast empty tracts. Imagine if the Black Death had left only a few million Europeans. We'd all be speaking Mongolian now, right?

You didn’t "guess", you take every opportunity to bring up your fantasy man.

I'm not a fan of very many politicians thank you.

If you don't like pols, try a place run by warlords. They're the usual alternative. Thing is, pols are fairly easily bribed. But if a warlord wants what you have, he'll just have you shot.

Her school didn't go far enough...

And I hope you teach your little girl that these high and mighty Pilgrims would ultimately abuse the indigenous population and harass them out of their lands.

And teach her how Columbus's men hoed out native teen girls in their own islands.

We shall not mention that, eh?

You can stick your tiny head into the sand.

You call it propaganda, but that truth is the truth.

Here's a bit of current events to add to your knowledge trove.

Just a few months ago archaeologist released information about a vault they found 2 years ago filled with human skulls, it's underneath an ancient Aztec temple site in the heart of Mexico City. So far they have found about 1000 intact skulls and all of them are women and children, there are also hundreds of thousands of skull fragments. This confirms Cortes' journals about the human sacrifice religion and blood rituals he observed.

Also, Black Death just made a comeback, but now it's airborne.
It started in Madagascar and has spread to Africa so far.
In Madagascar they periodically exhume their ancestors remains and dance with them in their religious ceremonies, it is believed this is where the New Black Plague originated. The first deaths of the NBP were reported 2 weeks ago, today almost 200 have died, over 2,000 are sick, and now the healthcare workers who have been trying to treat this disease are getting sick.
I'd be interested in learning if the Europeans who made it through the original Black Death passed on some kind of genetic resistance to the disease.

Yeah, I've read of these. I receive a couple dozen news bulletins daily from worldwide sources. Much better than TV.

I cited Mayas. Aztecs aren't Mayas. Different origins (Mixteca/Aztecs from Sinaloa, Mayas from Yucatan, far apart); different language families (Uto-Aztec vs 23 Mayan tongues); different cultures and timeframes (Aztecs came on the scene a few hundred years after the Mayan collapse).

Yes, Mayan culture inherited much from Olmecs and Toltecs. Yes, Mayas also killed people. About that time, Europeans were burning suspected witches, heretics, Jews, dissidents. The Inquisition followed Cortéz to New Spain. And bloody holy wars of the Counter-Reformation were about to sweep Europe.

Also, Black Death just made a comeback, but now it's airborne.

European populations after the first pandemic peaked in Europe in the 14th century aren't like now because massive migrations. The third pandemic ca. 1855 started in China and killed many millions worldwide. Smaller but deadly attacks occurred in Australia and San Francisco ca. 1900. Madagascar saw outbreaks in 1995, 2014, and now this latest. My brief readings show the pestis bacterium becoming resistant to antibiotics but nothing about human resistance to the disease.

IF its true then all the lib tards hating on Thanksgiving are being racist bigots hating on a native American tradition and that's not allowed in the SJW rule book of mindless thinking!

Now Black Friday will have to be RED Friday and only February will be allowed to have a Black Friday!

Sorry these are the SJW rules and they have to follow them or its hate speech....they hate it when you serve it up to them and they aren't programed for logical thinking!
