If deviant behavior has been more widespread than acknowledged openly, does talking about it openly reduce its incidence or increase it?

There is no such thing as sexual deviancy.
This makes me grateful that I do not have to commute to a job. The Cougar's cassette player crapped out years ago.
I refer to her as a she because of the high maintenance. She used to purr and require nothing but some loving attention, but now she keeps demanding expensive accessory replacement.
So what you must be trying to say is, "This is what is illegal at the moment." There is no such thing as deviation when it comes to sex (think gender identity). You are attracted to what you are attracted to. To call that attraction a deviation is very narrow-minded and judgmental. Even if you are prohibited by law (as homosexuality used to be) from being happy, the line of deviation has long since been erased.
Issue is with consent, not just illegality.
Animals are not able to give consent, children are not able to give consent, rape by its very definition is non consensual.
Sexual deviation among consenting parties is not problematic.

Do you think everything should be legal if there is consent?
An example of "everything"???
I was thinking you may have a specific example of behavior between consenting adults in mind to raise an objection to.
Otherwise, what are you talking about?
I was talking about this:

Your post makes me want to scrub with bleach. So what you must be trying to say is, "This is what is illegal at the moment."
