Do you shop mostly online, or do you prefer the bricks and mortar store experience?

If you shop online, what are some of your favourite sites?

The holidays are coming, so, let's talk shopping!

It depends for what.

Certain things that are straight forward, online for sure. Amazon mainly and supplier sites.

I needed a xenon bulb got it online.

For clothes, I never bought any online.

Shoes I'm very particular about. no way to buy it online unless I previously owned a pair and buying the exact same thing. Which is possible. i regret to this day I didn't buy two or three of an old pair I used to have. They no longer make em.

Electronics almost always online.

Online for clothes and most items. In store for sex toys..

Oh, see I buy my sex toys online. I have a great store that gives free gifts with purchase all the time. Quick shipping, discreet packaging. I hate going into a sex shop and some 20 year old girl wants to help me find something. No, fuck off, thank you. I don't want you helping me look for princess plugs.

Actually the Mrs drags me in there just to watch my face turn red when she picks out something outrageous and yells at me from down the other Aisle "Hey how bout fucking me with this, yeah baby"
Not joking either.. this shit happens to me

I'm blushing vicariously for you

Oh the OP
online for electronics, sex toys, essential oils ( yup) , knickers but not bras, did buy a repeat pair of jeans, books, DVDs - all from Amazon. Mostly food online - Tesco. Cranky old stuff from eBay

Today I renewed my house insurance.

Last year my local high street broker couldn't get the cost below £800. I went online, discounted the dozen cheapest quotes because the cover was minimal and the excesses were high, and paid £370.

The renewal with the same company would have been £421. But my high street broker rang me this morning. I went to see them and discussed my requirements. Through them, including their commission, I will be paying £271 for better cover than I had last year. I couldn't replicate that online.

Why the difference? They are now associated with a much larger company and can offer a wider range of recommended insurers.

For White Goods - fridges, freezers, cookers etc - my high street outlet can match online prices with free delivery at a specified time and free installation. They deliver evenings and weekends including Sundays. Why should I pay more online?

Car parts? There are two shop front stores that can supply car spares. They can deliver within 24 hours at similar prices to online. But they know my vehicles. I and they know whatever they supply will fit.

Next time grab the horse dildo and say "I thought you wanted this one??"

I buy most stuff locally, unless it is easier to find on line. Car stuff, with the exception of vital bodily fluids, is bought on line. 9er stuff comes from Las Vegas, and antique car stuff comes from Pa. Amazon for knick-knack patty wacks.

Books and CD's on line, most other stuff in store, I like to touch and fondle stuff before I part with my hard earned cash.

Last big purchase was my studded tires thru amazon prime, or else no way would I pay for shipping. It really depends on the site and what their shipping costs are, and usually it’s not quick like unless I’m willing to pay exorbitant prices. I ordered some Christmas clothes yesterday and hope it will arrive by then.

I hate shopping.

It’s not a all the time thing but I’ll share a somewhat funny story

On our way to cedar point ( amusement park Ohio ). Cruising down the interstate and just chilling she’s reading books and just driving with the radio down low... all of a sudden way befor our stop she’s like... TAKE THE EXIT .. .. I’m like what ??? GET OFF NOW .. I’m like ok. Jesus wtf. .. wtf is the problem.
Take a right. They just put in a new adult mart.
Jesus girl .. could have passed cars on fire... nothing... but caught a glimpse of a new toy store and freak me the fuck out

Just a little tidbit, there is no such thing as "free shipping".
Trust me no one ships anything for free. You are paying for freight cost in the purchase price.

The beauty of 'free shipping' is that you see the price, you pay the price, with no nasty surprises at the purchase point.

And shipping costs shouldn’t be based on price, rather than weight.

I’m pretty sure this thing will make me cum like a fountain but I have a problem with the shipping costs
Will there be a Black Friday sale ?

I prefer to shop local, the fella is all about shopping online. I like to make a day of it shopping, coffe, lunch, shopping, coffe, shopping, cocktail.

Online is for stuff we can't get locally (within 100 miles), cheaply, or within a timeframe. Photographic and musical stuff, odd tools and foods, occasional media, some crafts. But no musical instruments more complex than a tinwhistle. No non-trivial electronics -- best to be able to return it to the brick-and-mortar right away, like that last non-functioning GPS.

Amazon isn't about to send delivery drones to my remote hamlet anytime soon.

Amazon & Costco.com. I like making my UPS guy work for his Christmas tip.

Brick and mortar. Fuck the intrusive big brother.

If I want it, I buy it. If not, I go to the next one.

You get the presents I buy for you.

Online for researching features, prices, availability, and customer reviews. In store for the items I want to touch, smell, try on, and try out.

Sometimes a combination of the two.

I recently orders a rug online. I ordered and was charged for the 8' x 10' and they shipped me the 2' x 3'. I emailed them about the problem. The solution? They refunded my money and told me to just keep the smaller rug.

Looking back I am glad this happened. The rug was thin and not at all comfy on my tootsies. Their fuck up helped me out.
