Sexual Assault

I find it interesting that a poster here, who's posted to another poster here exactly how he'd sexually assault that poster's daughter - and that she'd like it - is not only still allowed to freely post here, but is still accepted as a member in good standing by his fellow socialists/progressives here.

How can progressives possibly condemn others for what they themselves fully tolerate?

Reported.

There are assholes on both sides of the fence. Not really something anyone should be gleeful about, but to each his own, I guess.

Exactly, just seems so one sided recently.

I'm not celebrating the latest downfalls.

Sexual assault is never gleeful.

This n00b "DontBackDown" is giving a full-throated defense of Roy Moore, who has been accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and three 16-year-old girls.

I, for one, am not the least be surprised.

Have the statutes of limitations been repealed in the united states?

No need for courts and trials anymore?

Last week, Adam Sandler touched a woman’s knee on the Graham Norton Show.

Age of consent in AL is 16 and none of the girls 16+ I've seen quotes from accused him of sexual assault.
The 14 year old is another matter.

What I find even more alarming, however, is the fact that so many people believe it's perfectly find for him to say unequivocally that he places the bible above the US Constitution. That if there's any conflict between the two, he would base his decisions on the Bible.

So, given that, It would not be at all surprising if the accusations of the 14 year old are true since 14, and younger, is perfectly fine in the Bible.
Not to mention selling your daughter in to slavery, and lots of other wonderful things.

This is a man the GOP welcomes in to the fold. Just like our president who actually bragged and laughed about sexual assault.

His political days are numbered.

Look for him soon in the pulpit of a born again church.

Love the sinner. Hate the sin.

Sarge Spidey, Mr. reporter man.

What exactly are you reporting this time, other than you don't agree with a (another) poster?

The same thing I report every time, a violation of the forum guidelines. Whether I agree with the poster or not is irrelevant.

What do you do with an allegation from FORTY YEARS ago? How does the accused respond to that? Would the accuser have any possible evidence? Man. Do we just automatically believe the accuser?

On average there are 321,500 rapes and sexual assaults on women over 12 per year in the U.S. Meanwhile the OP mentions three cases in the last twenty years that he doubts, of the roughly 6,000,000 that occurred during that period. Pretty weak I’d say.

Decades-old allegations are indeed too late for legal action. WaPo outlines an impossible case. Nasty, but what's to be done? Nothing publicly. Privately, Gups will try to press Moore to quit because he's toxic for races around the nation.

But that skips the subject. I don't know if sexual abuse CAN be addressed by humans. We're wired to fuck. People seek power, wealth, and access to sex. People do abuse each other; that's why we have laws and taboos, too-often broken. As long as humans have basic animal drives, and power asymmetry exists, we'll see sexual abuse.

No, we don't tolerate it... eventually. Is our culture at a turning point now?

I see that your reading comprehension is still challenged. Never got past "See Jack run." did ya?

Moore? I wasn't even thinking of Moore specifically, he's just one more name on the list that seems to be growing daily.

I was thinking it was "Run Spot. Run!" That and "Out damned Spot!" I think that was in the 11th book in the series.

We've already got Tromp Fatigue, a weariness of hearing anything more about that waste of resources. I fear we're heading toward Rape Fatigue, numbed by ever-lengthening lists of shitheads and alleged shitheads. I fear that the reaction too soon will be, "Oh, another abuser? <yawn> What's for lunch?"

The age of consent in Alabama is 16, has been since 1920. Before that in 1880 it was set at 10. Just a little perspective. It will be hard for Judge Moore to say he didn't get the message, however.;)

It's not hard for non-partisan patriotic Americans to judge this molesting fuckwaffle, you pedometer enabler.

A waitress wearing a low cut blouse bent over to expose her breasts, touched my arm several times and repeatedly called me "honey" yesterday at lunch.

I froze in fear, but later had her fired. She'll never sexually assault another customer again.

#metoo

You could be accused of molesting her thirty years from now, especially if you turn out to have deep pockets.:D

If Moore is guilty he should step down and accept the consequences, but there has to be credible evidence that he's guilty first.
