Trump asks Japan to build cars in the U.S.

Clueless better describes someone who believes Trump didn't know Japanese companies make cars and trucks in the U.S.

Then why ask someone do do something they are already doing? Its like me asking you to ne a butthurt crybaby on the internt.

Stop cherry-picking that Trump quote about Japanese cars. It’s not what you think.

No, it's never what one thinks. The exact words are never what they seem.

"Try building your cars in the United States instead of shipping them over. Is that possible to ask? That's not rude. Is that rude? I don't think so," Trump told executives from local automakers during a trip to Japan.

I guess those plants in Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Kentucky are figments of his imagination. Or is the con artist that inept and clueless to not know this information? Even worse, does his people, the ones who are supposed to prepare him for the trip, not know this?

At this point I choose to believe very little of what MSM has to say about anything. It's been big lies for many decades. The processes of deception have matured into broad spectrum, micro-manged bytes.
I support President Trump in his decisions on these matters. I do not subscribe to henny-penny alarmists who are themselves invested in opposing whatever the President does, or says. At least, it appears so far, President Trump has a measure of integrity and commitment to truth, here-to-fore relatively unknown in the Oval Office. Thank you for the JFK papers release DT!

I hope you’re not serious.

His quotes generally speak for themselves.

Kennedy’s papers...nevermind...

FauxNewz is MSM now too. An ex Faux exec said they have orders from "the top level" to "make stuff up." So they do. You may notice that US non-Faux MSM stories are often covered independently by foreign networks with no hand in USA politics. And many Faux stories, along with crap from the Russian propaganda meme-mills, are covered by nobody except Britefart, InfoWank, etc.

Choose to believe what you will. I can't change your mind. Have a nice life.

Was Trump mis-quoted? Because I've seen the video of him saying those words.

Who's lying?

In response, Japanese auto makers should give new models native American names, like Pontiac, Cherokee, Denali, Comanche or Pocahontas.

Guess you should have watched the whole video rather than the truncated one that was spoonfed to you to feed your prejudices:

As the full quote makes clear, Trump not only is aware Japan manufactures cars in America, but he specifically thanks them for all of the jobs they're creating. "I also want to recognize the business leaders in the room whose confidence in the United States — they've been creating jobs — you have such confidence in the United States, and you've been creating jobs for our country for a long, long time.*Several Japanese automobile industry firms have been really doing a job," Trump says.

The section of the speech in question, as well as another dishonest effort to mock Trump, is covered in detail here:

Not sure why the media has to be deliberately dishonest about Trump. About once a week he'll provide all the rope he needs to hang himself.

Don't worry, be Hopi.

Other good Injun names for vehicles: Potawatomi, Cahuilla, Nez Perce, Oglala, Miwok, Chickasaw, Mescalero, Hiawatha, Muskogee, Malibu, Cucamonga, Yaqui, Choctaw, Dog-Eaters, Mohave, Tohono O'odham, Jicarilla, Cochise, Abiquiu, Shongopovi, Osage. How about a Toyota Chimayo, Mazda Lahonton, Subaru Shoshone, Isuzu Cuyamaca?

Who first aired the truncated clip? Your link blames CNN, and a blogger citing "multiple news reports". Did CNN edit/create the truncation or did they pick it up from another source? Did many media outlets got suckered in? This almost seems like one of those fooled-by-The-Onion gags.
