I think this is an existential challenge to Great Britain as a nation state. I mean, if you can't even grind the faces of the poor, whose faces can you grind? And sick poor people, at that? Who will take the Brits seriously after this? Might as well sell that new aircraft carrier, "British power projection," is an oxymoron. And the government's going to need the money to pay for the phone service, anyway.

That 55 pence a minute was meant to pay for Policing the Non-Doms mansions. They will leave the country if we don't give them everything they want. This could be the thin end of the wedge the government might start asking them to pay tax.

Something must be done about this. Can't we take back the disabled's wheelchairs? There must be a good bit of scrap value there. Then there are all those artificial limbs. They don't need two hands to work surely.
