Yes, that makes sense. Energy first.

There's a neat thought experiment involving a perfectly mirrored, massless box containing a (large) number of photons. It's possible to derive the box's resistance to being accelerated, based on the momentum of the photons and the Doppler shift. Turns out that resistance is exactly equivalent to attributing inertial mass equal energy of the photons.

You shouldn't eat god. Probably needs some pepper if you do.

I always found communion fishy - all that body and blood of Christ. I think they just are trying to give us a snack so we don't get unruly on those hard pews. ;)

If that's their idea of a snack, then someone at the vatican needs to go to culinary school.

Well and to give the masses (pun intended) practice at following pointless instructions.

That's not all they need.

A special dog I follow online, is crossing over to the rainbow bridge. I am crying like a baby.
Animals are far better than humans.

When my daughter was confirmed, it was a 3 hour service. Much wine was needed.

Hmmm. Beautiful, but that's the kind of perfect neatness that makes me wary of thought experiments and purely theoretical physics.

But I do think it is beautiful that photons reverse the equation, as it were. It we could ever freeze one entirely, it would be massless, as I understand: all mass derived from speed.

One can argue that a stationary photon isn't a photon.

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Everything in our existence, in our reality has it.

Whether you want to look to the NA beliefs of everything being interconnected with nature as its basis or to some kind of zen buddhism.

Mumbo jumbo withstanding. Or not. ;)

I believe everything is connected. I don't see any reason to assign any higher meaning to that connectedness than "it is what it is."

well, i had to check. you'd be amazed how many people still hold on to the delusion that we're somehow separate from the rest of the animal kingdom.
