To be fair, many atheists also use their lack of faith to justify their extremism.

It is indeed an odd paradigm.

I think people are prone to extremes, especially en masse, and it takes some considerable mental and emotional discipline to step back from extremism.
 
I believe any god would care if they were being used for death and hatred. Ha! That never happens.

Maybe Adrina, but I don't deal with extreme atheists and their hatred everyday.

I don't mean here either, although I am sure some wish I did. I may laugh at your little puddles of hatred as the wind their way down to the sewer, but that's it.

You won't see atheists picketing abortion clinics or funerals as a rule. But that doesn't mean they don't have extremisms. I've known many atheists and although they don't act extreme, they definitely can be. In a sense, in my mind the absolute rejection of all things spiritual is a form of extremism.

The religious extremists have the support of their God to encourage and reinforce their arrogance. So I believe they act out more. And we see, of all things, them waging their wars to see whose "god" wears the biggest army boots essentially.

I guess I'm as extremist then because I've got no time for fairy tales.


Unless they are comic books or Star Wars flicks.

There are extremists in every group. I don't think there is any contest when it comes to extremists. Just look history.
