Most people on the GB don’t really know me very well... and because some of us have been here a long time, we actually have one important thing that binds us together (our fondness for the Lit Forums).

Times change, and i would regret passing up the opportunity for us to get to know each other better and more fully, without the armor.

So, in this thread i invite the oldies to interact with me here in a friendly fashion.

I was one of the first thousand or so to join here in ‘99 as an occasional poster related to my work... then forgot my ID and rejoined in ‘02.

I dont feel you are being truthful or sincere with us; perhaps if you were more forthcoming it would help, but i doubt it.

I had an old nick back in 2002, which probably has less than 200 posts on it. It's been long forgotten and dormant. The GB was faster paced back then, but politics was no less mean spirited. Folks were already fighting about Bush and the proper response to 9/11. Names I remember: Redwave, Problem Child, mellon collie, among others. My time here was superficial and uneventful - back then I was here mostly for the stories.
