My people are originally from Newfoundland, which is generally considered the home of the friendliest/quirkyfunniest people in Canada, so it’s always gratifying when people here are able to tune in to my essential nature.

I too enjoy Aquagal’s sharp sense of humour... i think she’s a smart cookie.

I tend to feel sorry in more recent times for the attack alts...they remind me of the euopean refugees... a great wave of nameless faceless dispossesed frustrated Lit users who can’t seem to find a way to fit in.

Then again, not everyone has the skills to carve out a lasting place here, and that’s okay too.

I'm just not seeing the substance or even the humor, at least in you. I generally dont even engage people here in anything but friendly banter because I'm still testing the water. Once in a while i read dudes like you posting stuff like that and I have to laugh.. Thinking thats really cool how many years here and this is your "achievement" ? Really? it took me 2 years to get through middle school.. Then i started to mature and grow up..

We've tried to hate little Sir Lancealot because he does get rather nasty with some members and spreads bullshit like Canada is filled in excess with it.
Yet he helps become the glue to bind us together and makes a few of us laugh when life looks gloomy. He also defended my wife and I when we were new and the haters were hating. We're no longer new, just noobies here to kill time and share a few of our own fun times.

I'm not trying to speak ill of the GB board, although I have to admit I've been guilty of doing so, but about the same time I came here, I started watching season 7 of American Horror Story. Its such a striking comparison that I said the writers must be members here LOL.. Sorry if that doesn't come off well but anybody watching that could draw some comparisons. However, its not all bad. In reality it might be no different than the other boards. They just dont seem to flow as quickly as this one when you're looking for conversation.
May be time to load another AOL disc and venture further into the decadence, see whats there...
