Of course, the winner couldn't be there to accept for himself that 2003 night because he was (and still is) a fugitive fleeing US justice for his crimes he also, like Weinstein, admitted to; yet, instead of facing that justice, Polanski, just as Weinstein's now done, too, split for Europe the day before his sentencing in 1978.

Also note Jack Nicholson giving his best buddy Polanski a standing O, too, in the clip above, and then consider all the "talk" about that Hollywood liberal icon over the decades (just like all the Weinstein "talk" over decades) and that it was at Nicholson's house back in 1977 that Polanski committed his despicable deeds.

Truly sad part is is that Polanski and Weinstein are not exceptions at all regarding all this, for liberal Hollywood is chock-full of not only gaggles of similar offenders but it contains every one of their enablers, too.
