Lesson learned: check to make 100% sure that your cell phone number is unpublished...otherwise be ready for the collection agencies (looking for your ex’s family members that you’ve had nothing to do with for more than 25 years) to call.
Really? WTF?!?
You.all.suck.balls.

I had to rouse myself from my post-turkey consumption coma and actually go to work today. FML.

It's still like summer here. Shorts weather. I bet it goes to sub zero almost overnight one day soon. Canadian season changes.

Be polite, write down information about who they are where they are calling from and who they are calling about. Once you have that information explain to them that you have no information for them and that they are not to call you again.

When they call you again and they probably will you simply write that down again, and have an attorney send attorney demand letter to them seeking compensation for violating your rights. The fair debt collection practices Act permits one and only one call to a third party seeking information.

We split a $3,500 settlement with an attorney for a bill collector calling trying to find the previous owner's son who had lived in that home as a child.

They got off easy each and every violation of the fair debt collection practices act can result in a $10,000 fine. which is what I explain to their in-house attorney before I got an attorney to put it on his letterhead. They won't pay up until you have an actual attorney but it's definitely worth the time and trouble.

Tickets for Jason Isbell at the Fox in Feb. go on sale this Friday, and that is literally the only concert I'd spend money on. I'm having Anxiety.

He puts on a good show, so I think you'll enjoy yourself. I will recommend that you use some good earplugs. You'll hear the music better. The ones I use are a little less expensive than the ones I linked to, but I can't find them on amazon. I got mine from a local guitar shop. I don't concert without them anymore.

Thank you! I love him, hope I get decent tickets.
