I had a leaky small diameter air line feeding an air bearing on a precision machine. The tube was factory installed during fabrication and not at all easy to access with the machine assembled.

I turned a double barbed insert on a lathe and super glued it in to the ends of the old tubing and the replacement tubing. It just fit thru the twisty path inside the machine while the old tubing was pulled and the new tubing pushed.

"Is this going to work?" Young grasshopper helper was questioning my patch.

"I fucking hope so."

It worked.
