Women's Equality in Football

Like in the military, rules will be changed to accommodate their delicate stature and tender emotions. No aggressive trash talking, threatening gestures, or tackling that touches inappropriate body parts and defensive players must yield the right of way to female offensive ball carriers if tackling possibilities can be determined in a court of law to be sexual harassment, inappropriate touching, or groping. :D

Pic is from a story about Indy unveiling #18 statue and retiring his number today; just the visual of blatant human size difference is what first caught my eye, with no other inclination at all...

And then I recalled the Cam Newton vs. female reporter deal that happened this week.

So how long can it be before men begin giving women advice on tampons?

Depends on the nature of the question and the size and tempermant of the individual being asked, I expect.

Just imagine you're NFL MVP QB Cam Newton, with 17 years of world-level football experience already under your cleats, being asked (what you think) are totally inane questions about technically running pass routes in the NFL today, by a person who has no first-hand experience whatsoever with anything she's talking or questioning about...

...my natural, automatically instant reaction would be to snicker, too.

Someone oughta clue this latest I'm-a-female-therefore-a-victim in on how athletes endlessly respond exactly likewise to her male just-as-clueless reporters ALL. THE. TIME.

Hell, next thing we'll see is Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) organizing to require the use of turn signals on the track at all NASCAR events...

Irony. Men tell women things men have no first hand experience with whatsoever all the time as if they are some kind of authority.

Turn about is fair play.

If they're professionals, they'll put on their big boy panties and suck it up.

how often do you fall out of the plane?

It'll all be fun and games until some poor girl dies on the field, and the guy will face a team of lawyers for it. It starts with asking questions, then dressing out and trying to do what they've only talked about before, you know, for equality.

why would a girl reporter die on the field more easily than a man  why would ANY reporter die on the field? have you ever seen a football game?

The topic is 'Women's equality in football', which implies that eventually, there will be women in uniform on the field. And eventually, someone will get hurt... badly. It's just gonna happen.

have you ever seen a football game?
Seen one, seen-em all, pretty much. Hormone-nourished DNA freaks bashing each other whilst wearing 'protection' that intensify injuries.

Woman shown isn't a "girl reporter" but a small woman who didn't spend her formative years scarfing-down burgers laced with growth hormones. The men on the field die young enough anyway because mayhem.

why would ANY reporter die on the field?
For reputation. :D

Yes, the topic is women in foosball er I mean hand-egg er I mean NFL-style pigskin play. Yes, men and women mostly have different physiques. No, teams of average-size women will not be playing against teams of male DNA freaks. Not unless the men are forced to wear lingerie and 4-inch spike heels.

Uh, I titled "The topic" and what you imply never entered my mind until you implied it.

How is it you fantasize you know what "The topic" "implies"...

...when you FACTUALLY don't.

It's like you're identically related to both buttwipes and the reporter, and obviously just as proud of your own arrogant ignorance.

Perhaps you need to put more thought into your choice of titles, because it clearly says 'women's equality in football', no matter what you INTENDED that to mean. And the topic of women not just reporting football, but to include playing football, is in the public discussion. It's the underlying reason Cam Newton, for example, laughed.

And, OBTW, I'm not the first in this thread to take it not only as reporters, but as participants in the game (see post #3).
