My youngest's 54 hour test at Paris Island started at 2am this morning.
Keeping my fingers crossed but supposedly not many wash out during it.

I thought you meant the play. It was too long.

Good luck to your youngest. :)

You make the perfect LaVar Ball of the GB, gramps.

How many other kids do you have to live your wannabe life through?

Even though I'm not into the whole military thing, good luck to your youngest.

Fuck off.

I had to sit though two weeks of CATS including matinees...

:(

Each sitting started making Marine Corp Boot look like a short time indeed. And I was in back in the Green Marine era before they shortened boot camp.

Good luck to your young one. I did not go to PI, I was at MCRD San Diego and Camp Pendleton. Mount Mother-Fucker truly lived up to its name.

Don't Worry

My two sons completed boot camp at Parris Island.

The Marine Corps does a very good job of preparing the recruits. That said, your son will get through with the help of his drill instructors and fellow recruits

Oohrah

Yeah, I'm not too worried. He hasn't had much time to write during boot camp, outside of when there was 3' of water outside his barracks, but sounds like he's doing ok.
