When I was lad, the first images to promote sexual awareness and desire were bare-breasted "Page Three" girls and their ilk in national tabloid newspapers. I am talking the UK here.
One then graduated to pornographic magazines, which revealed tits and pubic hair, with the occasional glimpse of labia.
Then came the thrill of what was referred to a the "Pink Shot", where the model would spread her labia for the voyeur's gratification.
